It's monsoon here. I think August last week (onam season) to mid February is best time to visit. Rest 5 months are either severe hot or heavy rain.

Apologies for having missed your query. Yes June to September is the monsoon time but this time Kerala hasn’t seen much of rains. Best time to travel to Kerala is from October to February
