Did you add alcohol for a preservative? Maybe I missed that. Otherwise it will mold?

I think you can just rub a cloth on the bottom when its still wet and it will pop out so you can do multiple at a time.

Hi, this is really lovely. How many days did it take to dry - was it left to dry naturally or did you have a fan blowing at it? Thank you for any help.

I watched the Shanghai character sketch develop. I see the commonality better here now. The organic flow of lines, the spaces, the shadows and shapes. As Arnie says as the terminator: Ah’ll be Bach! So much to learn. Thank you!

Awe. How you did the drops first, the foreground, of course. And texturally added the background of buildings, softly around the drops. Awe.

‘Catching’ individuals before they leave, it is interesting to see your very different approach of working different characters and going back to fill in more as you continue. it is a different way from your nature views. There is a thing I learned to do in nature. I see one Indian Pipe plant, but only. I say, I want to see more or all the Indian Plants here, and slowly they seemingly ‘pop up’ and let me see them, hidden under another plant, and even right out in the open! How did I miss them?! That is how I feel about seeing the characters in your sketch. “Whoa, there’s another one that must be included!” Smiling here!

It is ‘as if’ you mind took a snapshot and your hard is reproducing the view your spirit selected to express the current moment’s experience. The process of this drawing was so sequential and beautifully rendered. Thank you! I just discovered your TEDx talk on drawing and already shared that with 4 special others in my life. Your simplicity is profound, your accuracy in describing and in doing is inspiring. Thank you again.

Thank you. I needed to hear/see that. I started my drawing journey a 3 years ago. Last summer I took on a very overwhelming project (still not finished). The stress of that piece discourages me from drawing. I need to stop taking myself so seriously and utilize drawing for what it really provides me: Overall growth as a human being and a higher quality of life.
