100% of the information in this video is incorrect. Learning how to throw your discs is important.

This is great for fan grip throws that you can rip as hard as you want

I like the thrasher quite a bit. Flat diacs fit in my hand well and the thrasher works well for me

I use Wizards. You are using an Eraser there. I use nylon blend for putting, and a pure white for throwing. If you don't like the sticky feel, the pure white might be a good option.

Can we agree explorers/instincts are absolute bombers for a 7 speed? They have that stability sweet spot where they turn with enough speed but always have that stability hanging on so they don’t burn over. They also beat into great late flip/turnover discs too that stay reliable a very long time. Too good.

I use 1 finger like Marwede. What do you think of that? I can throw about 380 forehand.

I would call 163 gram disc as a lighter disc but not light weight. I would say 155g or under is light weight.
@benjaminhoff500414 сағат бұрын
I would consider anything under 165 lightweight since its rarer to find anything below that in normal production plastic.

Weird flight out of the Hades. Mine flipped nicely day 1, & beat in to like a -4 disc pretty quickly. My Hades has no dome whatsoever, & very little visible bottom plate. I found another Hades at 1 point, that wasn't nearly as flippy though. That 1 was more of a ''throw me flat, & see my turn'' type of disc. My flippy Hades demands a good amount of hyzer, & is rather bipolar. Capable of the most perfect flip to flat flips, & loooooong turnovers. But it might roll on me, if i fuck up royally. Thrasher seemed more reliable.

Without even watching yet, it won't be more overstable than Warhorse.

Imho innova wraith for most amateurs will be a better choice.
@lesfritzemeier89004 күн бұрын
I know you did a series looking at how weight affects flight and found that (at least with the discs you used then) weight did not have an impact. But… this seems to indicate that lighter weight is more under stable and that’s what I’ve found with my discs. Wadda ya think?

I got a star wraith the other day and it flies excellent but very over stable for me, do you recommend trying methods to break it in or should i try a new disc
@Kwritter663 күн бұрын
takes some work.... but throw a blanket over a fence and rip the disc into the blanket like 100 times. still hits the fence links but doesn't destroy or chunk the plastic.
@HARwinsOUTagain3 күн бұрын
Honestly... it depends. Is it just that particular disc that is very over stable? Or is that common with all drivers you throw? If it is just that one disc, you could try either a different disc altogether or a lighter weight one. If all your drivers fly like that, your arm isn't ready for them. Hit up fairway drivers until you start throwing them laser straight. Then upgrade to distance drivers.

I bag four craves in different weights and plastics. 2 glow eclipse craves (165 & 173) and 2 neutron in the same weights. The light ones are flippier brand new. I split grip and hyzer flip regularly. The heavy ones take longer to beat in but will take more forehand torque than the light ones no matter how beat in they are.
