I'm trying to find a replacement for my Hoss (best boat I ever had). Seems this one has similar specs. Does it have a flat bottom like the Hoss?

Great kayak, I've had mine for a year. Would you happen to know where the two long straps connected to the plastic base behind the seat attach to?

Any reason not to go ahead and put the bulkhead foam in along with the B plate instead of after everything is reassembled?

Thanks, these instructions were perfect. In my case, the hardest part was removing the remnants of an old cable that was rusted to the point of being powder inside the internal routing tube. Once that was finally done, the assembly of the new parts was comparatively fun.

Does it come in multiple sizes or is it a stupid one size boat like the homeslice?

Demoed the hot whip last week and bought one that day. This boat is so fun. I love this thing. So playful and maneuverable. I was worried being a bigger guy at 225lbs it was going to be squirelly. No it was not. GET ONE!!!

another pointless video. How good is the bag when you throw it.

So you loaded it fast but how does it preform when you throw it. That is the point of a throw bag. It is not how fast you can put the roap back in.

I just bought a Liquidlogic Homeslice today from the store online! I live in Brunswick/Harper's Ferry by the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers at the border of MD, VA and WV. I am going to try to do my first roll when I get the kayak. I'm 36 but built like a 20 year old. Slim at 6 ft 165-170 lbs. I will go ahead and watch more of your tips videos but any one or 2 liner tip for when I first practice/learn rolling? Thanks man and love your videos and I think I will love your kayaks too!

For the bulkhead did you just shove a big piece of foam up against the front drybags or are you removing and replacing the traditional bulkhead with the metal rails and wingnuts each night? A little hard to tell in fast forward. Thanks

If you’re installing a b-plate into a Alpha or Remix, good luck getting the stern block out. The channels moulded into the deck lock that stern block in real solid and it’s about a 2” channel to get past. It took me 30 minutes to get that block out, trying rubber mallet, 2x4, flat crowbar, etc. perhaps a car jack would have been easier. It took 25 min. to get back in with the assistance of soap to lube it up.

How did you manage to get the stern block out ? Did you follow his steps ? I have an alpha and it's not only 2 a inch channel up top, but it's also jammed ~3 inch deep into the bottom rail. I'm twisting the whole system when I try to pull on it, and I'm not sure if my shoulder will make it out in one piece.
