I agree with you on everything. I don't understand Joey and Aoife's relationship, they are supposed to be best friends but Joey never tells her anything that happens around him and Aoife doesn't realize what's going on, even Podge knew about it and Aoife's parents knew Teddy and Aoife never had any interest in his family? I don't know it's weird. Aoife's only personality is Joey and they try to sell her as a strong girl with high self esteem and she's dating for 4 years with a guy who doesn't even like her and treats her badly? I don't like her I still love Joey but I leave out the parts about Aoife for my own good, how bad he treats her? I don't even want to talk about it. I only liked the parts about the Lynch brothers and even their mother I found interesting but they are just crumbs in this book. Aah and the pregnancy issue? Chloe what were you thinking? Joey has been babysitting since he was 11? Give him a break

This IS the correct ranking for The Dark Artifices and no one can tell me otherwise. It's like, go big or go home with your fantasy universe, amirite?

Stay with Me by J Lynn (Jennifer Armentrout) is the absolute best in this genre/trope. She writes fantastic banter, love scenes and romance. It's part of the Wait for me series. It is superb.

Ive finished a whole book in 3 days bcz i had to return it to the librarian but now i m too lazy to read books because the vibes around me are like that. I can't even read 10 pages now. It just sucks me why can't I

maybe a crazy take, but regarding the incest thing: I started reading the books after I saw the movie "flowers in the attic", so in my head incest in narratives was used to show that the narrative is dark, increase the gory atmosphere, etc. so after reading so much teenage books, TMI seemed to be darker and creepy to me from the beginning, so the incest plot for me was "oh, what a thriller, these characters are in a very immoral situation that adds to the atmosphere of the book" so that's why it never bothered me In future books there is real incest and it is very creepy, stomach-turning
