I have the regular spruce top model of CD-60SCE. Wonderful instrument. It plays better when you remove the piezo electric wire sensor from under the plastic saddle and also install a new saddle. I used epoxy glue to attach the piezo wire under the bridge top.

Tbh, there’s like three different versions of this strat, and only one version of that Yamaha I think, but it’s ultimately what you prefer, Amazon sells beginner bundles for the strats that can be a pretty solid choice, I plan on doing that later down the road but the Yamaha has a more expensive price range especially with bundles on sweetwater unless you’re only aiming for the guitar itself. Either way whatever you choose just learn to play it well and for a while.

Bought myself one last week after setting it up I realize that you can get very very low to the fretboard without any fret buzzing at all the guitar neck is extremely smooth and the Sound quality is extremely nice the thing that I'm most impressed with though is how low I could adjust the strings to the fretboard without any fret buzzing good review brother and you play that guitar very well enjoy 👍😎
