Fabio is so refreshingly authentic. He reacts honestly and is even not afraid to show he's hurt by what people say. He also wasn't afraid to call out Shannon during tribal. Such a genuine dude.

I’m still disappointed we didn’t see Fabio on Winners at war. I don’t think that he was going to be a strategic threat, but I would’ve like to see how 10 years after he won he was going to be able to play.

I still don't think people give Fabio enough credit. He is usually really low on the winner tiers that I see, but he was insanely smart to create this persona of a goofy, lovable himbo and then make it all the way to end with no enemies. Except Naonka I guess, but it was a genius strategy nonetheless that ultimately won him the million. I haven't seen another person do the same thing, successfully anyways. He also clutched those induvial immunity wins at the most crucial times where if he hadn't of won, they would have voted him out because he was a huge jury threat. This was controversial season, but it had a really awesome winner imo. Fun Fact: Naonka even ended up voting for him in Final Tribal lol.

Fabio is one of my favorite survivor contestants ever, but honestly I can never pin down whether he won this season on his own merits or if everyone else in Nicaragua was dumb. I mean the double quit moment definitely helped him for sure, but still

Ultimately his win was thanks to his incredible challenge ability. Yes he did get a very lucky break with the double quit + those 2 still being allowed on the jury but he wouldn't have even reached the finals had he not won every immunity challenge from the final 6 onwards.
