I cringe at myself. I was so uncertain, stuttering, fumbling all over the place and edited this on my phone. You guys deserve a better video- you're going to get a better video. For now, here's some much needed info. My own voice has come quite a ways since then. Heck, I only made that video like 3 months into doing the voice on the regular. I realize now- and must share that it's a long-term process. Practicing vocal control and learning muscle memory. It's okay that it takes time to re-learn how you say things when you've talked one way your whole life. It's not falsetto. Speaking constantly in falsetto or "pet voice" can and WILL damage your vocal chords if used non-stop and I would advise to take a different approach. However, using falsetto or "pet voice" occasionally can improve your vocal-range, as well as singing. Take your time, don't stress. We're trying to achieve is a voice that is about an octave above your natural voice. Eventually, you should be able to speak in both voices from your chest and swap on demand just as easy as anyone can do a falsetto. (Don't get them confused) Good luck, and until next time!

I have to agree, you've got some skills. Now the voice training makes a lot of sense. You've got some very nice pipes, keep writing keep posting this sounds good

I hope since it has been years since you put this video up good sir, that you pursued this career because you are very good. After watching two of your videos my feminine inflection sounded a lot better. Thank you

I'm glad that my content can be of help, that's what it's here for! I haven't made a single penny from my content (the requirements for monetization are tough to hit) but I will keep at it if people genuinely want more. It has indeed been a few years since the last one and I might do an update very soon!

@@joanz4811 with your talents don't let anyone tell you you shouldn't. I will certainly be passing on your training video to a transgendered friend of mine. And keep the singing going to, that's good music

You are not only funny and fun to watch in your videos, this is working and I have a voice that's somewhere between total nerd and angry gravel pit. The best part is I have a bird and he loves what I can do with my voice now, he's sort of my training partner I guess. Anyway, thanks again for another great video!

This is by far the most useful video to have ever popped up in my recommended. I have a thing for voice acting, and girl voices have always been a roadblock for me. The result in the video sounds fucking mind-blowing. Huge thanks for now. If it works for me, I won't be able to thank you enough

Or `how to sound like a man sounding like his idea of a certain type of American girl he`s seen in movies.` Men are never gonna get anywhere close to sounding like...girls? Or women. Interesting he wants to sound like a girl...hmmm..I`m going to channels run by actual females, the original and the best. These guys are creepy.

"the clapping of my ass cheeks keeps alerting the guards" LMAO xD but seriously, how to you lock it while raised ? ps. great shirt you got there ! :D
@joanz4811Ай бұрын
The breath example is just an idea on how to reach the desired pitch. Then to form other words out of it is the hard part. In the beginning, I had a few rehearsed lines I could spit out, but to create a consistantly passable voice is the real challenge. There's no magic button or lock in our throats to "make it stick", but general practice and singing will make it easier.
@JessiesGengarАй бұрын
@@joanz4811 hey JoanZ, thank you for your fast response. But i feel i may not have been clear in what is meant. "Lock it while raised" i believe refers to the adamsapple(or whatever it's called). I can raise it, but i can't really keep it there. As soon as i try to speak a word, it drops. I have the feeling i'm missing some crucial thing here. Is it with a muscle you keep the adamsapple up ? (even if only for a moment)
