I was in radio for 23 years and Bobby was the nicest talent I ever met. Got to MC a few of his shows and wrote a condolence when he passed and got a personal response from his son which I treasured.

I saw John in the 70s at "Alice's at Avaloch" and in either the late 80s or early 90s in Cambridge, Mass. It's hard to describe how important and mesmerizing he was. So quiet and yet so intense. All I can say is rest in peace and thank you so much for what you gave to us.
