Lookup * the daintree rain forest that's where the cassowaries live. It will give you a list of plants in that forest. 🇦🇺 eg fruiting plants in that area are. Elaeocarpus angustifolius Idiot Fruit Climbing pandan Davidson's plum Macadamia Mango

fun fact: flamingos are pink because of the food they eat so baby flamingos are color beige.

G'day from Queensland, Australia. Palms are a good idea, especially Alexandra, Black, Fan and Walking Stick. Also might suggest Swamp Paper Bark, beach cabbage as well as quandong, guava, fig and lilly pilly.

Hey! Planting that area id suggest get either a birch (birch is totaly safe for 90% of animals to eat) or a eucalyptus tree (to help wit flooding maintainance, both can handle ALOT of water in short persiods of time) and use ferns as a lower vegetaton. plant other bushy type of plants out on the edges, also use some bamboo for shade where you feel that is needed. All of these are hardy and will be safe for animals. There are more plants to use but if i go over them all this post will be longer than the 3 last videos you made :). Best wishes from Sweden!

You really need to go buy a gas-powered auger you can get one for $300 or so and it would make your life so much better for setting posts unless you have one for a tractor already

I'm in sth aus hills area. There is talk that the Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger) is still roaming these parts. Walked into a spider web last night, as big as a credit card. Found a brown snake shed skin that was six metres long and also got pulled in by a rough beach as a white tipped shark was in 1 metre deep water. Bitten by a Red Back, stung by a 7cm long wasp. THE CASSOWARY is the scariest animal I've ever encountered!!!

Would love to see you set up a new enclosure for them like you spoken about in the past. If it’s still possible, no rush I know you got your hands full on the ranch but I would love to see that. I remember you mentioned it a while back

Blake and Cassandra, I love birds! Those parrots you have are annoingly noisy to be honest. I know their colors are quite impressive. See, I am for Africa and I suggest you trade them the the smartest parrots in the world: The African Grey. Not as colourful but way more smarter and for sure less noisier. Forget Amazon and pick Africa

From North Queensland (where the cassowaries live) they love the thick bush all you need to do is plant it heavy practically so you can't see the birds they will feel more comfortable and breed better.

I say add toys to the Amazon's enclosures cause it is kinda bare and when parrots have toys and stuff to do they are happy and more likely to breed for you

Becarefull if you add palm trees in the cassowary enclosure add more thick ones or they will kick it down maybe it's not a southern cassowary it's a dwarf cassowary but the still can kick
