At 11:56 of this video is why the Cubs lost the game. The shortstop booted a tailor made DP ball. Steve Bartman didn't lose this game for the Cubs. The shortstop did. So for the Cub fans to blame him is beyond ridiculous.

Dusty and Gonzo lost the game for us! Juan Pierre was the most damaging bat he worked Prior!

Kerry Wood was a dog. The guy carried the team in the 2003 nlcs.

I remember feeling bad when they kept showing the fan in left field, who we didn't yet know the name of. I was wondering why that mattered so much to the TV crew since Prior was so legit I figured he'd get out of it. But then I remember tripping out when Gonzalez made the error. It was so easy getting that first out, it makes sense how it would all unravel after that. Cubs style. 2016 was a good time for the cursebreaker but the 2003 team is the one that would have been really special to see win it all.

And they lost the series to a better team, the Florida Marlins, who went on to beat the Yankees and win the World Series

Woods gave up seven earned runs in this game. His two-run homer was exciting, but we needed him to throw strikes and miss bats - and he couldn't get that done. That's what I remember about game seven in 2003.

Why are umpires allowed to touch managers and players but if you touch them it is instant suspension.

Just rember this, Sammy was a White Sox player 1st before he got on the juice and was a pretty decent up and coming even before the peds. Sammy had a cannon as a right feilder and was like the one fastest guy as a White Sox player when it came to stealing bases. The peds just enhanced the power game. He had a sweet swing before he went to the Northside.

Tony Kubek said he had a deal with one player on every team in the Amerircan Leaque. When a fight broke out, Kubek and his buddy would meet at second base and pretend to fight. Pirates loved to throw at guys.
