My wife and I bought Perception Pescadors. Stable and easy to get in and out. Light weight enough that I can load them by myself if I need to. If I had it to do over again I’d get the pro model for the better seat.

I would also recommend a defibrillator and a goatskin for a few litres of wine

This has nothing to do with senior specific cycling gear.

I’m 71 and still enjoy riding, on and off road, only thing here I can add is, I bounce as good as I ever did, I just don’t heal as quick

Video showed general pfd rather than ones designed for kayaking. They will be hot and uncomfortable.

First, I bought an inflatable PVC kayak (Intex Challenger K1), the backrest part of the seat quickly broke in pieces of a few centimeters, but I used it for 4-5 years, and then it got a hole (it will become clear in the summer if the gluing was successful). It also became 1-person with a second canvas exterior and an inflatable hose (Itiwit). It is a little bigger, more stable, and the floor part is solid. Both types had to be turned out and dried every 2-3 days, so that the stagnant water inside would not stink, and the linen would not mold. To avoid this problem, I bought a cheaper SUP, which I mainly use with a kayak paddle. It is more practical to use, because of the aforementioned. Easier portability was important to me.

Never thought about using trekking poles to getting around and enjoying the outdoors. It's a really good 👍🏼 idea.

I live in a small twin am I able to fly in my own backyard without violating anyone else’s privacy any laws about that?

Whether you're allowed to fly your drone in your small neighborhood depends on several factors, including local regulations, national aviation authority rules, and any specific community guidelines that may apply. Here are some general considerations: 1. **National and Local Regulations:** Different countries have their own aviation authorities that regulate drone flights, such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the United States. These authorities typically require drone operators to follow specific rules related to drone weight, flying altitude, line-of-sight operation, and proximity to airports and other restricted areas. 2. **Community Guidelines:** Some neighborhoods or homeowners' associations (HOAs) may have specific rules about drone usage to address privacy concerns, noise, and safety. It's important to check with your local community board or HOA. 3. **Privacy Concerns:** Even if drone flying is technically allowed, it's important to respect others' privacy. Avoid flying over private properties or taking photos or videos without consent. 4. **Safety:** Ensure your drone flying doesn't pose a risk to people, animals, or property. Avoid flying near crowds, over roads, or close to buildings. To find out the specific regulations applicable to you, it's best to check with your local aviation authority's website or contact your local government for more detailed information. They can provide guidance on any certifications needed, no-fly zones, and any other restrictions you need to be aware of.

Elderly means really old, not being in your 50s or 60s. Also all the „tips“ were very basic information about different kayak types and applicable to every age group.

You're absolutely right! I try to exercise my ageing muscles daily, but it's difficult to motivate myself. Since installing a swim spa, I'm in the water at least twice a day, just exercising and moving my joints. I don't have any other access to water without the cost (although, if I could afford it I'd be out on the Great Barrier Reef every day), so having a nice big warm bathtub in my backyard is the best thing I can do, even on these chilly mornings.

I am a fair & easy going kind of guy, (a normal real man)... My one and only issue is the playing of music & loud noises... I agree to NEVER play your music at a "point of interest" area or at a campsite, unless the music is agreed upon my all around... Otherwise, use headphones/earbuds... I can say the same about loud talking & rowdiness as well.... and this is NOT only on the trail, but everywhere, like at a restaurant, on a bus or train, etc.
