Clive enhanced slightly what the brilliant Doug Sampson had laid down and formed a couple of years before. Would loved to have seen heard what Doug would have given to Maiden, I suspect he would have still been there now had his health not let him down.

His use of the hi-hat and floor tom has always been what I feel makes him so different and unique from other drummers. He doesn't do conventional fills 95% of other drummers (myself included) would do in obvious situations. I wish there were more videos of him drumming. Can't seem to find much anywhere unfortunately.
