Honestly, why are they constantly so obsessed with the "filming"? For example at the end - when the lady worker tells them "Pleeza astop filming" when the storm hits the tower. Like what are they supposed to do? Not film anything at all, just so that there is no chance at all they could show Iran in a bad way due to a storm that hits the city? That's a natural event, you can't stop it and it happens everywhere, no need to panic and tell people to stop filming ... For someone that didn't grow up in a country in regime - that's kind of mind-blowing to me how everyone is so brainwashed to constantly worry about whats being filmed...

What chance do they have when their entire way of thinking is completely distorted, they talk about ISIS as a danger, they talk about their civil war and the one that took place in Syria, they talk about the wars of factions and religions, but in the end you place Israel as the source of all the problems, what chance is there You fools, it is impossible to fix anything without knowing where the fault is, you yourselves!!, the existence of the State of Israel and even the struggle that exists between them and the Palestinians are none of your business, stop pointing fingers. Start taking care of yourselves, get rid of Hezbollah, get rid of tribal wars, be truly civilized and your life will be excellent.

I love Anthony and may the great man rest in peace, but i am quite disappointed with his portrayal of my country. Showing the black person living in impoverished conditions trying reinvigorate their culture while the white person clings onto the remnants of the abusive Apartheid regime is wrong. As if he wanted to reinforce the twisted narrative the world has of our country. The reality is that the effects of Apartheid linger on in black communities who are still impoverished and marginalized. While a lot has changed and the emergence of the black middle class is testament to that, the fact remains that black people are still largely impoverished thanks to the legacy of Apartheid. I have no problems with the way he chose to portray that, where I do have a problem is when the very next scene, featuring a white person, is of some obscure establishment showcasing memorabilia of the 'good old days' as he so eloquently put. That is not reality, and his production team must have gone to great lengths to seek out a place like this to ensure his narrative works. A place like that, and all it stands for, is an anomoly and does not represent South Africa. His summary, in Braamfontein, is completely superficial as well, and showcasing a place where both black and white people interact is not a depiction of the 'rainbow nation'. It's just a trendy market where all walks of life go for good food and entertainment. But to conclude that you now understand South Africa and echoing the words of the great Nelson Mandela is an injustice to his legacy. We are far from a rainbow nation, but he made no effort to truly show the integration of all races in our country. It felt as if he wanted to pit blacks against whites. Let's go to the most run-down, crime-ridden parts of the country to show the black person and then let's go the most racist restaurant in the country to show the white person. It's truly despicable. There's a reason those statues were not taken down when Mandela took power - it's part of our history and timely reminder to never return to the state of what South Africa once was. He never wanted war and retribution. He wanted a country where all got along and where all can live happily among each other. Nelson Mandela was a man of peace and i think Anthony missed that all together. While it's a bit late to change his perception, i hope those who are watching this now dont get fooled by his misguided and twisted interpretation of our beautiful country. It's not as cut and dry as he makes it out to be

Seeing the true damage a fire can do to an ecosystem, as someone from Australia where it's just kinda natural, is truly haunting. I'm used to some clearing from fires but everything is nearly back to normal in under 6 month, while here... it's something else. There's no hidden life under the ashes, no standing trees you know will sprout branches anew, nothing . . . I've never seen fire be so deadly before, not a part of a cycle but a true blight

Muhammad has never been to Jerusalem, that's a later fabrication. The Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem was built 70 years after the death of Muhammad --> please look it up! He never went to Jerusalem, he went to Al Jura'anah, Saudi Arabia; Al-Ji'rana was mentioned by the 8th-century Arab historian al-Waqidi. In his Kitab al-Tarikh wa al-Maghazi (Arabic: كتاب التاريخ والمغازي, "Book of History and Campaigns") Al-Waqidi describes two ancient sanctuaries in al-Ji'rana visited by Muhammad on his journey on dhu al-qa'da of the eighth year after the Hijrah: al-masjid al-aqṣā ("the farthest mosque") and al-masjid al-adnā ("the closest mosque").[2][3] This was also mentioned by al-Azraqi, a 9th century Islamic commentator and historian.[3] According to the Qur'an, Muhammad was transported to a site named al-masjid al-ʾaqṣā ("the furthest place of prayer") during his Night Journey.[4] The Qur'an does not mention the exact location of "the furthest place of prayer".[5][6] The actual meaning of the phrase is debated in both early Islamic and contemporary sources. According to the Encyclopaedia of Islam, the term was originally understood as a reference to a site in the heavens.[7] Another group of Islamic scholars understood the story of Muhammad's ascension from al-Aqsa Mosque as relating to Jerusalem.[7][8][9] Eventually, a consensus emerged around the identification of the "furthest place of prayer" with Jerusalem, and by implication the Temple Mount.[10][11] In 1953, British Islamic scholar Alfred Guillaume suggested that Al-Ju'ranah was the location of Al-Aqsa described in the Qur'an as the destination of Muhammad's Night Journey.[12] He based his theory on the writings of Al-Waqidi and Al-Azraqi.
