So what about letting the viewers here know about the reset issues that come along with a GFCI feeding a GFCI. And the oddity of trying to get them all reset. For as you probably know, when one gets tripped they all trip. And it's tricky to get them all rest.

i know this video is a bit old now, but i have a question if you have time! We just bought a home, and i'm planning to make a whole cat room with these hammocks and perches! It looked like the PVC pipe diameter was 2", do you feel like that is plenty of space for the cats to get around with easily? We are planning to get a pipe cutter (The ratchet ones) and most of them go to 2 1/2 but not more; We're just worried that the cats won't have enough space to climb up them. we're planning to probably get 2 1/2 diameter, but i guess it depends what is available at the time. Thank you in advance, and thank you for the update!

Big thanks for this video mate - sorted out a sagging floorboard in my kitchen by drilling 5 small holes and filling with a hardwood colored flooring specific 'no more gaps' product. Much better option than having my kitchen ripped up and re-laid (which is what the retailer and original installer recommended). LOL :P

Simple. Quick question. How do you drain the pipe after shutting off water?
@aaronfixesstuff
@aaronfixesstuff 17 күн бұрын
@@mikezarrillo5490 ideally if you have a multi story house you can open a faucet on the lower level. But if not, just open another faucet. There will likely be leftover water in the pipe, so I recommend having some towels handy. Hope this helps!

This may be a old video but hopefully you reply, ….if I find the “lead/first” outlet and am able to run a ground wire to it to either the ground bar on the box or like a copper grounding rod hammered into the ground in my crawl space then install a gfci with this ground wire attached will this ground all of the outlets following or only the one?

Aaron: If the existing cable has a ground wire would you connect it to the green screw on the receptacle anyway? I ran into a situation today where I'm trying to daisy chain off of a receptacle to add a new one. Problem is, when I plug in the circuit tester it says there's an "open ground". So, I'm wondering if these Leviton 'preferred" receptacles will solve the problem?
@surferdude642
@surferdude642 18 күн бұрын
The original receptacle must be grounded to the electrical panel and if it has a metal box, it must also be grounded. If not, you'll always have an open ground. No receptacle will solve the problem.
