When I change each pedal to a looper it is a lot more convenient, however when I double click to stop one it will record for a split second to over dub, this will splice into the loop itself and seems unavoidable... It's on trck1/play4 like you suggested

This may be a stupid question: Let's say I did all this. I successfully rooted bass on instrument 1 input L to main output L, and electric guitar from instrument 1 input R to main output R. I hear both the electric guitar and the bass through their separate amps while playing, which is fine. Now, I added an electric mandolin, I'm using instrument 2 input L and root it to sub 1 output L, which is connected to a separate mandolin amp. My problem is I'm not hearing the mandolin through its separate amp while playing it, only after my playing was recorded on the track assigned to the mandolin amp. Is this to be expected? I was hoping that I can hear all of my instruments live while playing them, through their respective amps.

Thank you very much for this Ross! Do you know if there's any way to setup the pedals for controlling kit sounds? For example, pressing pedal 1 mode 2 for kick, pedal 2 for snare, and so on?

the all start/stop button is supposed to do nothing on 2 second press, the reason is incase you change your mind about starting or stopping for timing reasons or something all fair to change it to an all clear though, you could also do fade outs and other stuff

NO TOUCHSCREEN PLEASE!! Give me some fisical butons that can be switched or repaired when any malfunction occurs in the future believe me, touchsceen display will eventually fail and brake, just as the physical knobs, but the difference is that you aren't able to repair it and you'll be forced to buy another entre unit (and that's what the industry wants)

Is there any command in ctr fnc or assigns in Rc 600 to activate certain input bank on a push of a pedal? I could not find one. If there was such command life would have been not so disfunctional. I could just assign the corresponding "activate input fx bank x" command to the play track pedal and the pedal would play the track and activate corresponding input fx bank at the same time. There are only input bank on/off, and inc/dec commands. They dont help. Do you know anything about coding the system for these pedals. Is making a command to activate certain input fx bank on press of a pedal so difficult? If it can be done when using external fx pedal, can you suggest any video link on how to do that?

I would recommend looking at the RC-600 parameter manual. You can select a certain FX with a pedal using an Assign. Pretty easy to do.

Its a shame that I cannot assign different input fx banks to different tracks, so that corresponding input fx would automatically activate when I play different tracks. What is the point of looper if you cannot do that. How am i supposed to change the track and the input fx bank at the same time. I bought this looper so that i would be able to do that. But it cannot even do such a simple thing. Is programming such a basic and essential function in a looper such a hard thing? Can anyone suggest me a work around?

is it possible to assign two fx bank to two inputs and use them simultaneously. I play guitar and sing at the same time. Both my guitar input and mic inputs need fx. I can make only one fx bank active at a time which is assigned to one input; another input does not receive fx. How am i suppose to get two fx banks for two inputs at the same time?
@RobBach7 күн бұрын
Your allowed 4 effects per bank. Make sure you have both effects added to the same bank. And simply select which input will be effected by each effect per separate track.

I wish certain track could be assigned certain input fx bank. So that if i play certain track, corresponding fx bank in applied to input only without affecting the playback. Is there a way to do that?

Hi, very helpful, thank you! A previous comment mentions this ... there are six looper tracks, and 6 mono (or 3 stereo inputs and outputs) which suggests the recorded tracks are mono , and stereoized when routed through the track FX to the outputs. Is the limitation of 6 mono outputs a bottleneck due to having 6 output jacks, or because the tracks are stereoized mono recordings. Wondering because if they were fully stereo, you'd think using as a USB interface you would be be able to have 12 mono or 6 stereo tracks in the DAW, but seems to still be 6 mono/3 stereo (plus the drum track). 12 mono signals from the looper to computer is a lot, perhaps while there isn't an output jack limit with the USB connection , practically and for routing sanity, perhaps the 6 mono output jacks limitation on the RC is mirrored in the software when using USB? So for example when you plug in a synth, would you need to use 2 inputs and outputs to preserve the stereo? Thanks!

I have 3 different instruments separated by input and output... is there a way to have each of these sent to 3 different loop/tracks but then have all 3 tracks controlled by one rec/play switch?

I have a question if you can help! If you use the Rc 600 in single mode for example import loops for every single switch ( Intro,Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Solo, Outro) and change them between with the functionality that they will wait the loop ends to play the next one and if the loops that you import have a reverb tail (decay) will the rc 600 will let the tail play or will it cut the loop immediately?

Hi Ross. I'm a new subscriber here. I tried doing the vocal harmony effects on rc600. However, it also affects the guitar harmony too. Is there a way that I can only the harmony for vocals only and the guitar sound still remains? If so, please teach me. Appreciate it a lot. I'm new to rc600 but been using rc30 for a while now. Thanks

Your videos have been incredibly helpful! One question : when I go through my midi targets, I don’t see an option for “mic in mute”. I can access the levels for mic 1/2. For the instruments, I do have the option for both levels and mute. I suspect this may be because of some other parameter I have said differently, but if you have any ideas I would appreciate that! 16:56

Hi Ross, Really appreciate your vids. Got a long question for you... I'm having trouble keeping my outputs isolated. They stick to their assigned destination before looping, but once I start looping, my signal is going to places unassigned. Stereo link is off on all inputs and outputs. I have an acoustic guitar running through an A/B Pedal. A is an electric amp. B is an acoustic amp. My goal is engage A & B while maintaining their independent outputs. I have A running through Input 1 L. This is going to Sub Out 1 L for Track 1 (all other outputs turned off).. so this is meant to only go to my electric amp I have B running through Input 2 L. This goes to Sub Out 2 L for Track 1 (all other outputs turned off).. so this is meant to only go to my acoustic amp. When I loop Track 1, the the outputs will mix. In other words, my electric amp pedals will be sounding through both amps instead of only the electric amp. Same with the acoustic amp pedals--signal goes to both places instead of only the acoustic. Any suggestions on how to keep these isolated?

Thanks Ross, this came too late for me, but I'm sure new users will find this helpful. I prefer to answer my own questions, because I'll remember the answers easier, but this is a complicated bit of kit, and not everyone is as technically minded. Even the RC Editor isn't the most user-friendly software, so it's not surprising some people have difficulties.
