It should be noted that it is ILLEGAL to use cell phones on High Altitude Balloons! Per FCC 22.925, using a cellphone on any aircraft, including weather balloons, is illegal! There are better methods to track your balloons using either Amateur Radio (APRS) or even satellite networks (i.e. using a "GPS Spot") .

Although impressive, it pales in comparison to the power of the earth and the universe. Lightning can travel dozens of miles in earth's atmosphere, hundreds of miles in atmospheres of other planets in our solar system. Our sun can eject plasma hundreds of thousands of miles into space. One coronal mass ejection in our direction and we could be goners in 8 minutes.

Did it work tho? I think that's the important question. Did it perform the task of providing energy? If so where's the video in action and providing visual proof. That's what I want to see, not a light show ( no offense definitely dope but I just want more clarity)

So me asking did it work what it was advertised to do is not a far fetched question, especially since the video doesn't explain that it's just a "light show".

@@drobotk sometimes the intended translation can get lost in txt format, all good all is forgiven. But if you do have an answer I have an open ear, why would ppl waste money and resources to build this Tesla tower if not for its intended purpose? Are they getting to a certain point and hit a dead end ? I know a lot of his work was stolen, but I see ppl all the time recreating the tower but never one doing what Tesla believed it could do. What steps are they getting to and how close are they to actually getting to the finish line?

Frequency is too low, and the sound suggests a low Q factor oscillator. Tesla would be annoyed.

Wireless power in this fashion is a huge disruption to RF communication. It creates extreme emf noise across all RF bands. Would not be practical to send power via air unless using focused microwave direct energy with no scatter.
