The Fed raising rates is raising the cost to carry credit card debt, car loans, etc. That won’t help today’s youth in purchasing a home. We need mortgage rates to go down so they can afford homes. We need all rates to move in a downward fashion. Phoenix is growing and desirable to businesses to come as it is still cheap commercially in comparison to other places. Prices will continue to rise and it will be a frenzy here once rates come back down. Keep an eye on the 10-year. As that goes down, mortgage rates follow it.

Hoping to see the inventory continue to rise. Younger people need a chance to have a home too. I pray the fed raises rates higher to help the trend but they probably won't. The stock market is more important than the youth of this country.

Now sit down and do some research and look into the management companies of these charter schools.These management companies have special interest and have political motivation. In poor parts of the united states they are funneling money from neighborhoods and communities that are challenged with underfunded schools.

Its hot in Arizona? Really? I hadn't heard. You complain about the traffic, in a video you made, and you don't know who caused it. Thats the problem, ignorant people that don't know who is in charge.

My two biggest mistakes. 1. Rushing DIY jobs. I thought I would never move. I was capable of doing the floors better, but I thought I would live in one place forever. I hurried the job and it shows. 2. Not pushing to complete permitted work. I paid money for expensive plans, but I allowed work to sit, and then there was inflation, and loans became expensive. The city wanted changes. Two years later I would prefer to just move, instead.

Absolute worst thing about PHX: Maricopa Count Board of Supervisors. Zero election integrity when the board refuses to release election data, verify signatures on absentee ballots, and added 6-8 extra weeks for "counting" ballots. Very hard to trust results from '20/'22, which is a very scary situation.

That is a big difference! Why?

When I was buying a house, I absolutely took into consideration how much “cosmetic” personalizations I had to undo and then redo: time + work + cost = money I would want to deduct from the asking price and I told the realtor exactly why. Also, extremely bad re-done kitchens with bad layouts, scratch & dent appliances and short upper cabinets! And please ditch the dark grey/white trim esthetics done all throughout the entire house!! Having to repaint everything with a primer & then paint is a hideous waste of time and money! Just repaint with a nice primer!

One of the sections is "lack of greenery" but the Phoenix area is located in the Sonoran Desert, so there is less vegetation and plants are spread out. However, hot weather and low rainfall does result in a diversity of vegetation that one can appreciate. For example,, the giant saguaro cactus is only found in Arizona except for a few specimens that have crossed over the border.

I lived in the Seattle area for several years, and while there are problems with Phoenix-area traffic, traffic in the Seattle area is far worse.

You had me at School House Rock! We live in Northern AZ and our realtor has a slightly different take on our curb appeal here. We're in the woods and most homes selling here are being used as short-term rentals. We were advised to keep it natural as possible, albeit cleaned up and tidy, so potential buyers won't be looking at the upkeep. Rocks and trees it is, but leave the natural growth! Great advice, especially the over personalizing with paint and such, thank you!

Don't EVER use Round-Up. You can kill weeds by spraying a vinegar/salt solution. Use the high-strength vinegar you can buy from a hardware store. Round-Up kills pollinators and causes cancer!
