When I was an apprentice Pattermaker at Derby Locomotive Works in the 1950's I made the patterns for the aluminium name plates, also for the large roof fan grille which is also cast aluminium with a masterpattern maker named Norman Smith. 9:22

I typed in 'class 44' to get the sound of the two bank Sulzer engine to compare with the class 26 (single bank of 6 cylinders) but just got steam trains etc!

It’s normally viewable from the cycle path (along with 31101), but it should have plenty of turns once the railway pres scene gets going again.
