i think you have solved 3.18 wrong ( 1:43:08 ) I think it should be 50/140 cause 140 senior go to collage and 50 play sport and go collage its given.. Please correct me if i am wrong. love your videos really helpful.

You seemed to be a little confounded about why some numbers were spelled out and some in numerical form. The standard is that all numbers one through ten are written out and any numbers above ten are in numerical form. Just thought I would clear that up for you. Also, thank you for the statistics lecture, it was very helpful in getting me through the first chapter of the book.

Hi Mark, it's interesting how you spoke about Forex in your lesson, twice. I wonder, do you think a Quant would be able to more or less easily figure out how to make consistent profit predicting market prices? Or maybe not even Forex, but perhaps stock prices or bonds or something like that?

I think people like to believe they have a foolproof model to always make money. Trading is like forecasting... predicting the future. The future keeps reminding us that it is hard to predict. A model may work in the short term, but conditions change and the models become more iffy than sure fire.
