My trunk won’t unlock with key in my pocket or in my hand for that matter. Only way is to unlock all the doors first with the FOB by walking up to it or changing the settings then manually unlocking with the FOB. But won’t unlock trunk otherwise. What’s the issue?

You didn't go over shutting off the FOB by holding down both lock and unlock at the same time.
