This is well edited and I think this is what they should’ve done to the end of this episode. It’s so emotional to see Ian leave. He did return of course but it did feel like he left forever and it was his time to go. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye, especially when he thinks of the memories when living in Walford. It’s incredible. This is like saying “Goodbye Ian!”.

11:32 and 11:43 have got to be my favourite TARDIS moments in the entire series. The wind, the lightning effects and the gravity of the situation (it truly feels like a spaceship is taking off / landing) is what I love about these 2 scenes, not to mention the music.
