I like the infotainment setup...I have a touchscreen in one of my cars and it really is more difficult to reach over and make a selection than using the controls in the MB. Once you've become familiar with the MB system it really is very simple to use.

Unfortunately, this video is completely wrong. This guy completely mixes up the NFC and wireless charging. It is something completely different!

NFC is for the communication and Wireless charging is for charging. They are completely different things. In the bay there is charging and NFC at the same place (charging is for charging, NFC for the identification of the phone and starting the vehicle). But in this video it is all mixed up.

Mercedes needs to change that outdated infotainment system, with knob and scroll. That is so old and pain in but. Touch screen is way to go.

You're not the only one who thinks this. Mercedes-Benz is currently transitioning technology from the wheel to the touchpad. I'm also happy to say that the bulky COMAND touchpad could be getting refined soon. So imagine the COMAND wheel deleted and a more sleek and low profile touchpad coming in the near future. The MB Research and Development dropped by in a camouflaged E300 and the touchpad in there was NOTHING like what we see right now. It looked outstanding. I'll post a photo on my Facebook page: facebook.com/drivedetroix As for Mercedes-Benz going down the touchscreen path... I can't see that ever happening.

+Christopher Stacherski at Mercedes-Benz of Novi I dont know bud......I had 2015 C300 AMG sport package, and that thing was driving me crazy. I bought it brand new 47K, and trade it in 5 months later. Mercedes-Benz is saying that with their way, you are always concentrated on the road, but that is not true at all. What I can do with touch pad in 2 seconds, it takes literarilly 10 to 15 seconds with their infotainment. I spoke with my dealership, and they stated, that there is no plan for change at least for now and near future. I told them, call me when they change it.........also this is my view and my preference. Other than that their cars are hands down best out there.
