Nice Engine. I have a 6, round rod, also 1911. I had it running like a top 15 years ago, but now sloppy ignitor settings keep it from popping correctly.

Everyone has an opinion on paint or not to paint, I like them painted and looking good. After all, they left the factory painted. All but 1 of mine are painted

Bert All of mine are painted bar this one and the 6hp Hornsby which would be too hard to paint. This one will end up painted like the rest ☺

Hornsby are British. Australia got just as many British engines as we did American ones. We are lucky :) Where about's do you live Bert ??

Thanks Bert. From how i read it they only made them for a very short time before they re-rated them to 5 HP. I also have a 7 HP and a 2+ 3/4 HP about to start resto's on them :)

I like the Galloway's, I also have a 2-3/4 hp, not running, 5 hp rounrod, haven't heard this one run yet but shouldn't take much, 3 hp bull-dog(working on), 5 hp with the bulldog type hopper, and 1 Termaat & Monahan 1 hp. Love the hobby and the people you meet.

Thanks, but not really. Only 3 out of six are running at this time. I just enjoy being around old iron.
