i did my brakes but i did not have the caliper tool. i just used a flat blade screwdriver to push back the piston before i took off the caliper. pry the piston back by putting the screwdriver between the pad and bracket, then pry. it moves back slow but it works

This could have easily be explained in less than 20 seconds and you explain it to us like we're 2-year-olds. Thumbs down 👎🏼

These guides do not need to be lubricated. Structurally, they must be dry and clean.

You can also use the longer FL-400 filter instead. It has more filter media and costs the same as the 910.
@lukeWiz44 Жыл бұрын
I would not recommend doing that. Bypass pressures could be different.
@LA_Commander Жыл бұрын
@@lukeWiz44 They might be, but it doesn't matter as long as you change your oil and filter regularly. Like every 5k miles.

I bought the caliper tool from Autozone even though one reviewer said he broke it on this very vehicle. I’m guessing he didn’t retract the parking brake first because I didn’t have any problems with it.

I’m really glad I found this video because one of my coworkers asked me if I could do his rear brakes. I had a feeling they weren’t as simple as regular vehicles. That’s a great tip about using a lug nut to hold the rotor in place.

Do you know what the best engine oil is for the Ford ecosport st-line 2019
@Szevjwi8iu Жыл бұрын
I would follow the manufacturer recommended oil!
@blonded3598 Жыл бұрын
The ford motorcraft line, since it’s recommended by the manufacturer. Best quality oil overall is Mobil 1

There will be a LOT of different answers to this, because everyone has their go-to/favorite brand. My personal favorite is Rotella Gas Truck (the values are very good for a variety of tests for turbo engines) but I used Valvoline for decades with no issues - every vehicle went well beyond 200k miles, and engine problems were why they were retired/sold. The more important factor is changing it on time...and earlier with these modern 7500-10k oil change intervals. 5k is plenty. BUT Do use Motorcraft as its recommended if you dont know a lot about engine oils, testing it and all the little qualifications needed to 'qualify' for use with your engine. You cant just grab any brand off the shelf and dump it in.
