Hello, well done on your cooking. Pls try not using tomato paste. Also, i would suggest using one small tomatoes or none. These two ingredients turn to cut the sliminess of the okra. u can also blend a small amount of okra in addition to the chopped okra and you will notice that the okra will be slimy without adding the soda powder. A plus for effort! The soup is 3x too thick and the fufu is undercooked. It should have a stretchy consistency, not doughy, near perfect!

Aahhh, you biggest mistake is thinking I'm American, I'm Aussie & Canadian, if you go down 2 comments you'll find the Queen Sweet Adjeley, she's in the US, Ghanaian, and has quite a few of these recipes, this is who you want to learn from. This is a Ghanaian dish, so there really isn't an American way to do it, and my goal is to always be the most authentic and honour the culture. Thanks for watching.

Hi Freddy, please I'm No Sir! Call me Ato or Campbell, I am a pharmacist, and I have not experienced malaria myself, but I have had friends experience it, and nobody wants that on their holiday. I did take it during the dry season when I was there, and I would again, it is expensive but much less painful than a bout of malaria and lost time. You never know if you are close to a pharmacy to test and get treatment, when you are there when it strikes.
