It's a damn shame that Septycal Gorge is no longer around. They made good songs within the death metal world.

This is one the most underrated albums ever! Seems like everything Mikko Kotamäki touches turns into pure bestestness - recall seeing 'em live back in '01 and they ROCKED! \,,/

This recording is a true jewel. Genuine and magical old school Greek! For example, Cradle of Filth later found success with a type of music that has many elements of this and other great Greek recordings of the early '90s. Therefore they did not create anything new.

Metal just keeps getting faster, more technical, and with more and more incoherent gutteral throat noises. The thing it lacks more and more is dynamics. I don't care if they play at 6 million bpm with 64th notes. No dynamics makes for a boring song.

I'm shocked that I'm just discovering these guys in the past few months. The guitar riffs are some of the most interesting I've heard (not to mention the stellar drumming). Canada has so many fucking outstanding bands.
