Except weaker, they aren't akin to plasma rounds, seeing how a normal human can take one to the shoulder and walk it off with minor burns, when you get hit by a plasma shot in 40k, you are reduced to soup.

@@imaran1303 except even a volley of simple Guardmen's Las rifles would still be enough to melt a space marine into soup if they just stood there and soaked up that much fire. Its ridiculous any way you try to argue it.. Not to mention they are straight up TANKING rounds from a laser Canon mounted on a tank, which is definitely powerful enough to fuck up a space marine

@MrCdog85 I would argue that blasters are weaker then lasguns, considering how a lasgun will fuck of a normal human whereas, again, a blaster only charred the shoulder of Leia, who has no force powers. Also also, in the Astartes short, which is canon, we see a Astartes tank a wheel mounted multi-las to the face with only minor scorchmarks on his armor, after tanking hundreds of shots.

@@imaran1303 I wouldnt argue that, if anything blasters are slightly more powerful or around the same strength of a las gun. But it doesn't really matter what I say, cause you would probably make up some silly reason why a space marine could survive a direct blast from the death star. I love both franchises but this video is purely here to stroke off space marine fanboys

@@imaran1303 oh, you dont want to go there with pitting the universes against each other, because we can go there. Daemons? Blasted by normal blasters. Including Demon princes. Orcs? Mowed down and eradicated in a hot minute. Eldars use Monofilament as weapon technology and thats supercool in 40k, in Star Wars its itsa all-purpose material used for wiring (even something as simple as Fishing lines are Monofilaments). Necron use underpowered particlestream weapons, blasters are laser/particlestream hybrids, so necrons go bye bye, Tyranids are spacebugs to be squashed by a few star destroyers. But now you have to also deal with the Hutts and their massive armies, the Remnant Sith empire, the Yuuzhan Vong... What was your point?

30K? With titans and super heavy tanks like the Glaive and the Fellblade? SW factions would have NO chance against 30k Legiones Astartes, lol. And right now it's not possible, because we have only 40k factions in this mod.

Learn Star Wars lore... and 40k lore. Armor in Star Wars (Expanded Universe) is so good that kinetic weapons are useless. Even the lightest of armors makes you more or less impervious to kinetic weapons. Bolters would go Plink Plink. 40k power tends to be vastly overestimated by its fanbase, and this view then gets thrown around in a endless echochamber untill everyone have heard from everyone else that it must be so, and thus believes that it must be so, without taking evidence into account. But if we actually compare stuff, 40k is not that powerful. Easily proven by Star Trek, a universe concidered by both fans to be less technologically advanced than Star Wars. a Lasgun blows chunks out of people. a Phaser disintegrates them. Lets see that in numbers. A lasgun have 19 megathules in its mag, and can shoot 150 shots. So each shot lands at 126.6kJ (Yea, i say MegaThule equals Megajoule, that must be a greoundrule for anything to make sense, otherwise i can just claim that a Megathule is just 1 joule, and everything in 40k is just weaker than other universes, and its just as valid as saying the opposit) a Phaser Rifle delivers 1.05mJ per second. a Lasgun can be made into a slightly weaker Lascannon. So we can estimate it to be 20-25mJ. a Lascannon can take down a Titan shield. So a Phaser rifle with sustained fire can in half a minute can take down a voidshield. Yeah sadly the Ai for the really mobile vehicles has guys sit at range and fire at the enemy instead of racing around and doing hit and runs

@@zacharyweaver276 ya that sucks. But the Death Korps of Krieg Death riders are done really well AI wise. They will zip around shooting at things. Even charge past things or in to melee. Maybe when we get the speed freaks of those white armor space marines, we can have speeder bikes raging up the place being Every where. 😁
