Awesome album! If you go on tour, please go to Salt Lake City. Prog bands keep skipping SLC and going to Denver or Vegas instead.

Man, I've been searching for something like this for so long. Every other Progressive Metal Band I've listened to was mostly just hard guitar riffs and screams. This album beautifully balances melodic guitar-sounds with clean vocals and screams! Also I love bands, that just stand out from the rest, that sound unlike anything else out there (Cyrenic, Waking Tera, The ReAction) and for me Koronus is one of those special bands!

Ok so I've been listening to this for like the past 2 days on repeat and is as much of an emotional experience as the Vocal album is if not even more! I can still hear your whispering voice singing the lyrics in my head lol. As I said, this album and EOTM is such an experience for me i always manage to get so emotional investment on the plot, atmosphere and lyrics I kid you not my eyes always tear up abit on the ending part of Enthroned that takes the Intro segment of Dethroned and that melody is stuck in my head like a nail. The whole adventure from the beginning as the Sentinel is just raging and blaming for the death of the Emperor for his journey to literal hell, fighting a God, being possessed by an ancient cursed blade and bringing ruin to his kingdom on his mission for revenge is such a pull on the heartstrings. Altho I love the whole "Go to hell to regain your honor" and the Mortal Blade corrupting our protagonist, I find it tragic and even sad that he ends up as this tyrannical figure in the kingdom basically just a warrior wanting redemption to a warlord that can't be redeemed, it's beautifully tragic. Altho sure I maybe would wish for a slight different ending where yknow evil is defeated but I guess we already had that in Monolith, altho the ending could be changed to one's interpretation where the Sentinel regrets his destructive mayhem and tried to fix things but that's to each listener. Overall everything about the Sentinel album is fantastic, a samurai tale of revenge in metal form and I can't even begin to think what you'll guys do for the next album and how you'll carry out the lore of both albums! (just please could you try not to have us wait 3 years for the next installment? This saga is so good and I get it takes time to cook this stuff but God I'll hate the wait even tho it will be totally worth it I'm sure! Im not joking when I say EOTM and Sentinel had an extreme influence of my life as a whole and I keep the next one will have as well. Love from Portugal, may the blood on your swords never dry. Rock on
