You did great. Its been said a hundred times here. They were fishing for wins by having him sandbag into white.

You can tell he’s primarily a wrestler when his coach tells him to gain stability before he finishes. Basically he has no mount thus no leverage so he can’t finish the submissions and his opponent just escapes. In a way this guy isn’t really sandbagging he’s just a high level wrestler who’s super athletic and conditioned with a pretty introductory understanding of jujitsu. I don’t want to throw him under the bus for trying, but the other player escaping all his attempts should teach him a lot in film reviews

Damn, a lot of people are going hard on him in the comments. "Fortunately for me, I'm pretty hard to armbar." He points out a strong point of his game, and that's him being arrogant? It's not like he was saying, "I'm a great white belt, and these guys are trash." Lmao! Idk. I'd roll with him; he seems he'd be fun and challenging. I've seen some suuuper cocky guys out there, and he's not even close.

Yellow green guy has a judo background for sure, most likely a wrestling background. The white belt did well considering.

Don’t blame the “white” belt. His coaches blew it sandbagging him. Wonderful defense attempts for the white belt here. Welcome to comp culture, man…🤦🏻

Great to see you competing again Griffin, I am a white belt and I am going to compete for the first time in April this year. Whoever is recording this only zooned in when you were in a bad position with the back taken and getting strangled... LOL, that looks like something that a close friend would do.🤣

We need Elo in Jujitsu. Until we introduce it there will always be sandbaggers at white and blue belt brackets.
