Personally I think Vilia's disappearance is a lot simpler. Gerudo Town is being absolutely decimated with sandstorms and Gibdo. Going there would be tantamount to suicide so for their own safety, Vilia most likely left the area for the time being. Also, assuming they are not trans, Vilia probably put away their Gerudo disguise as they don't need it and resumed their original persona which we don't know of. Sure we don't see anyone with their facial features, but like, we can assume we don't meet literally EVERYONE in Hyrule.

It's still so strange to me that people enjoyed the Koshida battle and liked the mastercycle as a reward. I thought it felt like a decent battle but the mastercycle was lame and didn't fit with the terrain. And by the time you got it, it wasn't helpful because you had a horse and all the sage abilities to travel. It would have been fun to see Koshida in the past, though

I call it laziness. They could have included Kass as a Cameo for the musical troupe, they could have left the divine beasts at their respective locations and just have them covered in nature, decommissioned, made to look like each is asleep, possibly with headstones at each one as tributes to the fallen heroes that operated them. They could have even left the defunct guardian corpses everywhere, just more nature worn. Artistic vision got trampled on this one. How are you going to make a sequel while simultaneously pretending that the previous game didn't happen in said sequel?

About the house, I've always thought it would be strange for Zelda to live in the house but Link just stays in the inn? Also Link being her personal bodyguard, and Zelda being THE princess of the whole kingdom, (she's got enemies who want her dead), Link would want to be constantly near her to protect her. Him staying in a place far from where she stays is unsafe. Also Zelda is so nice I think she wouldn't let Link sleep in the inn. I dunno if they sleep on the same bed... I'd like to imagine so, heheh Which also makes me question why is Link's house in TOTK so far away from Zelda's house? I get it, Hudson Construction is at Tarrey Town, but I'm sure they could secure a spot in Hateno Village and build his house there... Unless Link's house in Akkala could imply to be some sort of summer vacation getaway house? When Zelda wants a vacation they can just go to Link's house in Akkala
