Honeycomb is really bad, it reduces light transmission and snow/water gets stuck. A sunshade tube is much better!

Are the stadia lines on the mil version of this scope of the same thickness as the Gen 2 Mildot on your 3-15x50 Marksman? I own two of those, as well as two Professionals, and I love those reticles for hunting. If the stadia line thickness is the same on this Long Range Hunter version I'll be buying one of these for a new lightweight build I just got finished. Love your scopes. Thank you.

Thank you for the question and for the love! 😁 The thinnest part of the stadia lines on the mil (MRAD) reticle option for a 3-15x50mm Long Range Hunter is 0.015 larger than the stadia lines on the Gen 2 Mildot on our 3-15x50 Marksman. I just bought one myself. I had a docter plate and reddot on but I think the previous owner stripped out the screws. I do like how the batteries come out the sides instead of having to take it off the mount.

@@southern842 the zero target that’s been the standard for every rifle/carbine range is calibrated for a 25/300 meter zero. The silhouette is the sized to replicate a man sized target at 300 meters, at which you zero your irons (if your unit is poor) or your M68, ACOG, or whatever optic you are using at 25 meters. So at 25 and 300, center of mass if your hold and where you will hit. Hence the 25/300 zero. I’m not an idiot, I’ve read the TC for rifle marksmanship within the last oh I don’t know, year, year and a half

Hi Frank, the flip version allows you to move it out of the way quickly if you wanted. The older larger version has the same polarization capability but just a different way to adapt it to the ocular end of the scope.

Hi John, it is calibrated with NATO M855 (62gr) on a 16” M4 Barrel.
That revolution indicator is terrible. Why would you require someone to have to get completely over the top of their rifle to see what revolution they are at?
