Transcode to AV1 for 4 K, and HEVC for 1080... Jellyfin can track multiple versions of video files and play these direct stream... Saves you transcoding same file multiple times

yeah the performance is certainly, entirely due to the case chosen. if you put the drive in other cases, it would magically downgrade to less than 1 Mbps!

Nice timing my Proxmox old server had a drive go last week, replaced it yesterday then when re-slivering completed last night I woke to a second alert with another one died. So replacing them all now. (RAIDz2) going from 4 x 2TB to 4 x 4TB

I think tone mapping is done on the client, during playback, not the server. Somebody correct me if i’m wrong .

I did nearly exactly the same thing with mine. I put in my old GTX 1070 and it can hardware transcode plenty. I like the practical application videos. For others be warned, the 1070 fits with about a millimeter of space between the back of the GPU and the center row of fans. It had to go in at an angle and has absolutely no slack. Larger video cards will not fit.

I have a full Mikrotik stack with a 16 port SFP+ CRS317-1G-16S+. I am connecting all other equipment via fiber to SFP+ ports in and out of each switch and CRS in my network. My workstation has a bonded two port fiber network card. I have one server that is UNRAID with two fiber ports on a network card. I believe that the HL15 would be the icing on the cake for my network. Do you supply the HL15 with TruNas and enterprise level hard drives in a full package?
