Very inspiring and dignified speech. Where on earth can someone sneek out to seek medical attention. Really? in this 21st century?

The ceremony was very nice. The Valedictorian's speech was superb ! The singer of the National Anthem was wonderful! They outshone the "guest speaker" in every way. Congratulations to the class of 2024 !

OMG I see he's not interested in the white men who are incarcerated!! Only people of colour or black to be precise. Are there no white kids at this University or is he only interested in talking to the black students. Talks about no division, yet talks about perpetrators ie white people. Why does he get this platform.
@maat6126Ай бұрын
Listen again he covered all incarceration but spoke on the percentage of incarcerated black men in America and the percentage of incarceration to the rest of the world. He spoke to all of us relative to the roots of his life. If you ever gave a speech who you are is also part of your dialogue but inclusive to the understanding how we are all connected regardless of race. The world is not about just white me whom control the majority of the world through history but whom also control other white men whose economics equate with others by pushing false propaganda as they continue to pit poor against as the wealthy continue to get wealthier as they continue to ship work out of the country. Go back and study history, take your blinders off and open your heart to see your likenesses to people of color is greater than your differences.
@johnhutcheon2806Ай бұрын
@maat6126 I agree wholeheartedly with what you say about wealth and lack thereof. It's certainly about wealth privilege and those economically disadvantaged and race is not a factor. He himself is a very wealthy privileged man. My history is rooted in oppression, the Scots by our neighbours England. But we must move on, remember the past, learn from the past, forgive, and move on.

Been delving into a lot of interviews, and documentaries in the PNoy Presidency lately for academic requirements and my discoveries always made me tear up. I can't believe how this person, a servant-leader, got a lot of backlash when he stepped out of power. The Filipinos should be thankful for his leadership. He demonstrated a notable performance as a leader of this country. Though it was not perfect, he made the Philippines a great nation during his term. Unfortunately, his successor didn't do as expected. President Noy, thank you for your service. You are remembered.
