As a school bus Recruiter & Trainer, this is an example of what we strive for with each of our employees. Thank YOU, for ALL you DO Mr. Curtis. I always tell employees, you not "JUST" a School Bus Driver, you wear so many hats and you never know what type of impact that you can make on these children. You are the first face they see before going into the schools and YOU are the last face before going home. As drivers we set the tone for that students day in school or evening at home. Driving school children can be challenging, yet EXTREMELY rewarding. Mr. Curtis, you make me proud to serve our community. God Bless you....

When you're dealing with people, you are dealing with living organisms. Organizations are organisms working together in a larger system. The sooner we realize this, the sooner we can see that we fix an organization just like we fix an organism. We must examine the body for what's causing the disease and treat the cause, not the symptoms. An outward mindset will work once we go inward and perform the adjustments.

Cheerleaders were also used during the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. During the last day of Powerlifting competition, the Cheerleaders at the LA Convention Centre got the treat to see Canada's Jackie Barrett take a page out of Germany's Matthias Steiner, win three gold and one silver medals, and set three Special Olympics World Games records about 9.5 months after he lost his mom to cancer. This was also Barrett's fourth Special Olympics World Games appearance as a Powerlifter. About 3.5 years ago, Jackie became the first Special Olympics athlete ever to be inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, putting him in the same company as that country's sports legends such as Steve Nash, Wayne Gretzky, Wille O'Ree, Donovan Bailey, Louis Cyr, Victor Delamarre, Doug Hepburn, Gerard Gratton, Ian Millar, and Cindy Klassen. Jackie is also in the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame, Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, and a recipient of the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.

What you really have is a false choice fallacy. I get it. You want to simplify things, but couldn't you do so in a more honest way?

I listened to the audiobook and found it underwhelming for such a bold title. Overcoming "self-deception" is learning how to not assume things about people and to treat them as humans just as worthy as yourself. It's nothing I disagree with but at times it felt like a dry corporate version of "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz; if you're reading this comment and haven't read the 4 Agreements yet, I would recommend you pick that up because you'll find it more meaningful and still be able to extrapolate its lessons to the work environment.

Fantastic yogurt company and fantastic video. But the music with castanets and guitar is horrible and inadequate. It does not belong, at all, to this area of the peninsula, another culture that has nothing to do with it.

Why would it be my job as an employer to change someone's mindset? I think that if you find someone who is unwilling to change for themselves, they are never going to change for someone else. Love others as you love yourself. You must first CARE for yourself.

omg if this doesn't touch your heart you don't have one. Imagine a world where type of person leads our nation. Leadership from the heart, commitment from the soul and an unyielding, unwavering determination to make life for others better. Then we would be the nation we were meant to be. Curtis Jenkins, thank you so much for being great. For teaching and reminding me that it isn't about who you are its about how much you give.
