I guess its the story, the multiplayer and "vast" content that made people love Halo 3. But in my opinion the story is just pretty bland and extremely boring. Insufferable characters (expect Arbiter, Shipmaster and Chips Dubbo) such as Miranda, trying so hard to play a tough, brave and selfless heroine making her very annoying. And oh boy the Cortana/Gravemind interruptions...completely ruining the games flow and slowing things down, making me not wanting to replay the game. The level designs, nothing special really, just regular linear maps with no interesting landmarks. Music, it is decent but on the Xbox 360 its very loud at certain times making it hard to hear dialouge or weapon firing. The menu being the loudest. The weapons feel good to use but Bungie made them sound like marshmallows so we could hear Martys "masterpiece" much clearer. Multiplayer, perhaps it was great back in 2007, but now its just a shit fest of tryhards and unemployed people who never stopped playing for 17 years. Definitely my least favourite Halo game. Fans treat Halo 3 as their golden child and flawless gem and will defend it to their deaths because they're very nostalgic for it.

Agreed, but there is always that subsect of women thay will go out of their way to reward the most abominable looks/behavior from the bottom dredges of society. Hence why the look has seemed to stick around. There will always be a feminist or low-confidence woman that is more than happy to perpetuate the problem by picking the worst mate humanly possible.
