@@figmento1 the only excuse I heard was that an artist tried to claim money from the library because their art was damaged by the sun when exhibited in the window. More recently I was told that it was a management decision and management decisions were final. Who knows🤔

@@gileswhiteheadartist I think i got them from my Dad, who worked down at Reeds paper mill. I had one that must have been about 4 inches across that kids were willing to trade their entire marble collection for it

Not any more. After becoming KIAD, it became UCA. The Oakwood park campus in Maidstone closed in 2014 but still has a film course at Maidstone Studios.

As someone who has lived in Maidstone all my life, a long time, I thought that this film was brilliant. I also support local industry by drinking in the Rifle Volunteers sometimes so well done the Goacher family.

I visited Lyme today. I've visited a lot of old homes over the last few days, joked with my daughter about hauntings, but sensed nothing at all. The minute I stepped foot in the Knights Bedroom, I thought "this one actually is haunted". I didn't know anything about the room. I had no knowledge of its reputation. It wasn't until I read the information sheet by the window, that I knew I was right. Thanks for filling in the blanks
