Sad it is still happen today in the public school system...White teachers on reservation are untouchable when they physically abuse our children.. You go to press charges fill out the affidavit n they tell you they'll look at it to see if it needs to go to court or say not enough evidence. But if it was other way around the tribal police will pick you up n hold you til county police pick you up. The native workers at school know it's happening but don't want to lose their jobs. No job is worth working for if they like to abuse children. I feel helpless cause their is nothing I can do.

I miss my friends of the the Southern Paiute. I survived in Cedar city with President Depoe. I have never met a kinder man. I sang with Water Deer and with Wolf Spring singers. Spent many hours in the purification ceremony with one of my best friends in Kaibab. Benn Pikyavit. Benn is also a Vietnam veteran. My forth great grandfather Was Petter Shirts, they called him two fingers. His son Carl for Don Carlos shirts. which would’ve been my third great uncle. During Mount Meadows his job was to go down and get the Paiutes he did not do this and Lee was so furious. He made him divorce his daughter. The Paiutes were not at Mountain Meadows. God bless the Southern Paiutes. Two words I have for them is compassion and endurance..

Keep in mind that the primary goal of these boarding schools was to "civilize" or assimilate Native American children into White-American culture. Meaning that Native American culture wasn’t worth acknowledging or worth respecting since it wasn’t white. In other words, America in a nutshell.

I am Payuudi. Also piute or paiute.. we stole horses from alta ca. We used the spanish trail. We joined the Bannock for war on the snake river.. we were called mono monache, pannakwat pitanakwat, panatees, bannatees. BANNOCKS. Numu Numa. NOW KNOWN as owens valley Northern Paiute or mono paiute.. but we the same. Very close related to Bannock and Northern and Eastern shoshone. They split us up. But our language dont lie. We stole horses from san joaquin valley when they released the thousands of wild horses. The owens valley paiute shoshone were very war like. Our war of 1862 was part of the bigger Paiute war. Alot of our Bands got pushed North. The o.v have the place names. And walker area has our Bands. The army stationed at fort independence for 20 years pushed ua out a bit. But many of our people died fighting Joaquin jims Band still here.if your paiute . do your research and find out where your Ancestors are from and its south east CA owens valley southern sierras. White man dont want ua to kno. Because we fall under treatys. They found gold and silver and water here.. dwp dont want our Paiute nation to know. South payuddi and Northern payuudi need to kno. What we were . Fremont called us Pie. Yoot. But its. pai- Yuu-ddi paiute . Means. warm water. Because we by the warm springs i guess. Look up what i said please.

Pride of all of America, North or South, we are all related. We had the oldest living ancient civilization which was lost in the deep deep south to the Spanish, their religion, and their diseases. Despite our advanced societies, we were told that we were not modern, as they were searching for gold and we had gold. Our natives still walk today in latin america, central america, america, canada, and alaska... The natives of America the constitution had given land and taken it away upon finding valuable resources thus they poisoned the land, enforced movement while strangulating the people to maintain position where the natives used to roam. They used to manage the land, but now I'm unsure if our government is even capable as one President tried to sell the national parks dedicated to the people along with wild horses and tried to create a monarchy out of a position where we only vote a leader in to represent us during the war while politicians tried to start the war in ignorance of losing ourselves as mother earth is unable to have another war, thus they restarted the economy to kill us that way... Oppression is repression, it doesn't matter what religion, what peoples...

when America becomes Nazi before the Nazi... We saved the white man from eating himself and his peers... Japanese, Chinese, Irish, Native American, Black, impoverished... Everyone came to america to escape religious persecution just to be met by religious persecution.

Im so glad that you guys gave us the opportunity to share what lowriders and the community is about, and like Connie and Nick said, it's all about family and coming together to support. My family knew Connie for a long time because my uncle is the owner of AS ONE CAR CLUB, and like Connie said, she's vice president of the club, but again, thank you guys so much

Native Americans ain't American Indians and African Americans ain't American! Native American is a political term used for their agenda to whitewash true indigenous history.

Everyone in the world knows that is Native Americans were here first. Well before Columbus. The United States and Canada tried to kill us off. Break our spirit and culture, but failed. We are still here. One thing that bothers me the most, is black people were brought here as slaves, and won their freedom. But they have more rights than us. WHY?

Glad to see this segment! I've been driving electric for over 13 years, powered by sunshine on my roof, and would never go back to burning fossil fuels for transportation. What is ironic for me is that I've been an EV advocate for two decades, yet only *after* I retired from Utah State did the university become active with its ASPIRE program. I Wish I could have offered my experience and expertise to help them while I was still teaching on campus. 🫤

It is amazing how hateful humans can be to other humans. These are the original people of this country, they should be honored instead of hated. I really feel they need to take their country back, it is so messed up now...

A wonderful look into the universe of Love that I found 30 some years ago...u know there are times , if you are lucky enough to recognize, times when u enter a new place,.or even approach it on the road. and u are overcome with emotion of recognition that this is ,was, will be your true home.. Best Friends was that for me. and each time I was fortunate enough to revisit over many years (I am now 75), the experience grew more intense, whether walking blind dogs in the freezing snow, feeling the joy, birds, pigs, horses, cats, wild things, , being asked to share a lunch table by some founders, just BEING in the energy. NOTHING IS LIKe IT ON EARTH.....if you have even a tiny modicum of compassion, you cannot help but expand . On this video, even hearing the sound of the chimes, where I left some soulmates over the years, today ...NOW as I write this..I am filled with tears. Its always the same. PEACE and TRUE LOVE ALL WAYZ.......... r. now in Portland Oregon.

There are millions of people on our planet who are in the illusion that nuclear weapons prevent war. One might wonder then, why there are so many military conflicts going on, or threats of even more. The fact is; it's pure luck that humanity still even exists, and that the planet hasn't been demolished in a cataclysmic ultimate horror. In addition to the famous Cuba Crisis, there are a number of near fatal events that most people don't seem to know about, and currently it only takes the wrong head of state to make it happen. Is this destiny game supposed to continue?
