I have 2000 450es. After many problems with the es, I gave up and got a kit to bypass it but haven't gotten around to installing it. Meanwhile I lost spark and replaced coil, plug cdi and voltage regulator etc but now I think it's the pulse generator. Anyway, after the regulator was installed I checked the es and damned if it didn't work like new. Full shifts up and down including reverse. Dang....

Have a 2000 450 eps and it will work for a few minutes then the 30amp fuse by the batter pops and I put a new one in and it does the same thing, looks at the wires to see if anything was open to the steel and the wiring looks good, what else could the problem be here? The ECU? To much voltage to the fuse making it blow? I took it in to get fixed and they couldn't figure it out! Any help would be great

This is exactly why I stick with traditional 5 speed foot operated semi auto clutch atvs. No bs sensors to go wrong or oil pump pressure to control shifting. Keep it simple and ride on...

Quite comprehensive. Good I had this experience. I have a motorcycle with a small 125 cc engine. It's a twin spark motor. Both spark plugs are of the same heat range/ rating. I once thought of switching their positions with each other. So I did and started the bike. Lots of misfiring, poor pick up, overheating, loss of power. So after cool down I switched them back to their original position. And everois perfect now as before. Never did it again and will never do. What could be the reason.?

He who modifies an SKS doesn't know what he has or what he wants. If ya want an AK just buy a fuckin' AK. Leave that SKS the fuck alone. A perfect hog gun if ever there was one, exactly the way it is.

When I was at Motorclcle Technical College on my Motorcycle Mechanics City & Gulids Course the tutors used the book Motorcycle Mechanics by Crouse and Anglin to structure our learning, so I bought my own copy in order to familiarise myself in advance so that when the subjects came up it was knowledge that I already had, being refreshed rather than just hearing about. Most of my fellow classmates dreaded electrical subjects but I loved them having found that understanding came quite easily. After College I opened my own Motorcycle Workshop and I specialised in electrical work, which I have always found to be very straightforward, even when fault finding on electronic fuel injection modules or other supposedly difficult systems. The book, The Motorcycle Electrical Manual written by Tony Tranter, the then head of the best Motorcycle Technical College in the country, Merton Technical College, is another book I heartily recommend. There has never been a better time for accessing excellent information on motorcycle electrics, the Internet is a fantastic, free resource, as are libraries. Once electrics are understood it really is quite straightforward and actually quite enjoyable, and as a Mechanic, well paid. Thank you for putting this video online, helping others to gain confidence and learning and to save money too.

Hi. I'm about to in the next few weeks upgrade my 1983 Yamaha SR 500 Kickstarter bike to LED lights. IL buy one of these electronic control boxes X21 I think it's called. Can I run all ground wires into one Block then from this block one single ground to bike frame?

is it possible to programme the EFI unit for a parallel twin motorcycle to have two modes; 1) normal running mode i.e both cylinders working. 2)Other mode is a cylinder deactivation mode where the engine uses only one cylinder or both cylinders fire but they skip a cycle after every power cycle that in return consumes less fuel.. ... e.g engine is a 350cc twin so running in mode 2 is like a 175cc.. ... An you programm one?
