Wrong!!! My scooter started doing this 1500-2000 miles after I purchased it with 4500 miles and a fresh oil change, ive never changed nor added oil have benn definetly meaning to though!!! But pulling off my airbox cover I had quite a bit flow out... Then took it for a highway ride without the air box and filter even after cleaning everything before going only to get back and have another decent puddle..! Most likely PCV of some sort causing it or worn piston rings which not my case since my scooter will still do 100mph. lol

How well does the transducer work mounted inside the hull? Any issues?

It works really well. Actually moved it to inside the hull right in the middle of the keel on my 2017 FXHO after testing it on these VX110's. It only loses bottom at more than 60ft deep and over 45mph from my testing.

You're saying you pulled the rivets on the rear window frame, took the entire thing apart, including pulling the glass, and caulked it and put it back together? That still wouldn't fix the water running into the bed when you lift the window.

@@factionfx drilled them out it’s just a little extra work just the difference in doing something correctly and doing something lazy and don’t open it in the pouring rain to avoid that driving it blows the water off

You need to just sray wd 40 on the end of the cable in the shifter box . Work it back and forth it will free up .

I’ve had to use starting fluid on the same generator and Westinghouse says the carb is gummed up but ive always used non oxygenated premium gas in it and drained the gas after storing for more than a month. I’m wondering if the starting fluid melts the air filter foam? I’ve always had to take the air cleaner cover off and removed the foam when I’ve used the fluid. I think I’ll remove the foam then put everything together and drill through the blue cover and the air filter cover at the same time to make sure the holes are lined up. Good video and idea, thanks!

it may very well melt the foam or at least dissentigrate it. I don't use this machine every day so if it lasts for several years I will have my money out of it.

It wouldn't do very well. We took a 350 honda rancher 4x4 out there and it really struggled. the 4x4 helps a lot, but you need about 500cc to really enjoy it.

I have the transducer mounted in the hull. I have recently found that when it gets over 60ft deep and 45+mph it likes to lose bottom. (hard rock bottom)

My Grizzly 700 is a 2009, and is stuck in park. I always used the foot brake to sift. So that interlock cable is also attached to the foot brake and hand brake lever? I'm a little confused sorry? Any insight. Thanks Mate 😊👍

Hope you got your issue fixed. The foot brake has a cable that pulls on your (left) hand brake lever which then also pulls on this interlock cable. The newer grizzlies (16+ I think) have eliminated this interlock.

Looks great! Questions…do you have access to the screws from inside the console? If so, would it have been easier with carriage bolts? Does it rattle? Have you addressed the exposed area? Update video?

It does not rattle. I did actually replace the lag bolts with carriage bolts. I added split lock washers as well. did all this 2 years ago or more and it hasn't loosened up. The truck is a 19 and I installed this within 6 months of purchasing so it's been a solid setup for 4-5 years. I did not address the exposed area. Although I do have some extra leftover grey/black boat carpet that I may attach.

Did you custom make the clear plex on the front compartment of your Gp? And what are the sparpee lines on the front of your gas tank? I always take my seat off and shine a flashlight on my tank to fill it.

Yes, we made those plexi inserts. And also installed rock lights on the rear of the fuel tanks in lieu of your flashlight. however, with the speed of this fuel pump, you don't need the light. it is slow enough that you can hear it start gurgling well before it splashes out. The gas pumps at stations are really too fast for these skis. watch some of my later videos, I have updated my setup and now carry two 20 gallon wurx containers in back of pickup, and use the same fuel pump.

watch some of my newer more current videos. I now have it mounted in the keel of the hull right in front of the engine using $4 "duct putty". it was way easier to mount, and it works a lot better.

At 64 I ain't yoo old for the 250. Do have a Kawasaki Mojave that I may sell for this. 400 Scrambler faster, yes, but also radiator, water pump, counterbalancer maintenance. 250 simple,pipe and stiffer clutch springs, maybe bigger carb.

Have the exact year 250 trailblazer identical to this one with RCR light weight piston and fresh bore 1 year ago and have never gotten to ride it! Nothing bug horrible bog at any point in the throttle. I will barly roll u around the yard. We have tried different carbs all with same results. I have been so discussed with this machine! All new engine and all. I rolled it out behind the barn and covered it up and out of site.. wish I could go back to the day I bought it off the kid that blew it up and slapped myself for buying this one.

Ah man that sucks. One thing that can go out in these is the crank seals. Basically causes a lean condition and won't run right. Rick Ritter should be some help.

Might be important if you are fishing, but not important for my use...I know April and october are going to be chilly....so I determined it doesn't actually matter HOW chilly it is...i still wear the same neoprene gear. (neoprene socks have become the best and easiest option)
