So does the high sensitivity of this speaker make it great for low volume listening, or do you still lose detail and imaging if you listen at low volume? And how does the Presence knob work?

Makes it very good at low level listening. Does not loose detail or image whatsoever. The presence control works from around 3k to 5k plus and minus 3dB and that allows you to control the vocals froward or back. Great for fine tuning.

Nope. I work for Fyne and managed to get a pair of 1.10S for my new house.

Yes your room is perfect for them. You could even stretch to the 502s.

It is miles better. Tonality different. Fyne use better components and the bass trax transforms the LF.

Christopher, please post an unstretched version of this concert. Stretching 4:3 to 16:9 distorts reality. These performers aren't that wide

@@millsaab Sadly is correct Christopher! I have JT at the Beacon Theater NYC 1998 which is 4:3. I bet there is software out there that can change a stretched 4:3 back to its original aspect ratio

How big is your room? Are the 502sp too big for your room. Your listening distance seem to be not very large. I'am considering between 501 or 502 (Sp of course)

They fit and sound fine in my small room. The couch helps the low frequency a lot, so it is not boomy. Sounds extremely good.

You can actually hear the pedal steel. I love how he looks back at Dan when he starts playing. Linda Ronstadt does the same thing.

Hi. You can read most about them online but it was introduced to be in between the 500 series and 700 series. It consists of a better cabinet, plinth, Crossover and driver. A huge difference in soundstage, detail, bass and clarity. They are very worth their money.

That's amazing!... I just bought F502SP last week on finance, after I learnt your Father was a part of Fyne audio. I can't afford them, but had to own them, not even had a demo... Just knowing your Father had a huge influence with them, was good enough for me!... Hope you have a nice Christmas, great love and respect to your family. Jamie :)

Yes it is strong. Not weak but very tight and toned bass. Actually by far the nicest bass I have heard. The BassTrax uni directional downward facing port really does the job nicely.

Nice one Chris! Do you think there'd be synergy with a Class D setup? Currently using ADI2 dac with XTZ Edge a400 and Tannoy XT6F...sounds like the bollox to me but maybe it could sound even better...plus I love the way the SPs look!

I'm late to the party. I have recently acquired a pair of F502SPs, and I'm running them off a Marantz SR8015 with surprisingly good results... I think a decent Class D with a good output stage and a warmer sound (Marantz, Arcam, Cambridge etc) will be OK. Although my goal is to pair these with a pure class A or tube amp. I'm thinking an old MF or Primaluna Evo 100....
