This was informative but the over acting was very irritating.

First time here 👋🏽 Do you have a video on good healthy discipline for a 1.5 year old putting her butt at me when brushing her? It’s a new behavior for her (never had an issue with her before). She actually kicked up at me, while brushing last week.

Thanks for that... I learned stuff today. I'm Australian and have had limited experience with horses... I used to drive a horse and carriage for a friend (weddings etc) but not spent much time actually riding. I didn't know Americans had their own style of riding, gaits, etc. What you call "English" is all we see here, and I thought that was all there was. Thanks for showing me otherwise.

I always have a rope halter on my mare when I’m riding regardless. Case in point: my mare slipped her bridle and I was able to snap her reins onto her halter loops and rebridle her.

I love you guys! I learned a lot from this video, but won't be showing it to any kids I want to take to the ranch!! I took my girls on a field trip to a duck processing plant when they were in grade school, and they did not see any knives or blood and they still talk about how I traumatized them.

Very interesting Tim; but not sure if killing a chicken on video inspires a relaxing visit to the Ranch...Ha! But a very good video; but keep it in training and NOT attached to a marketing page...just my two cents. Miss you all and Very proud of you, Michelle and the kids!!

Wonderful video! The oldest horse (Arab) lived till 34. I learned a lot about teeth from him. All his incisors were pulled due to a dental infection. He ate a lot better and didn't drool and his breath was better after that. He was in his mid to late twenties. He didn't seem to mind. I also got a Chincoteague foal at 2 months (yes from "The Swim") so I learned about baby teeth. Still learning, still riding and teaching riding, and almost in my 7th (yikes) decade. Thanks for sticking your hands into their mouths to share with us. My Arab mare absolutely HATES me to open her mouth. At 15, I am still peeking in there. LOL. Keep these videos coming!🦄

I see lots of horse videos where riders are talking through strong wind in their mic being barely understandable or over all low quality but here everything is clear and to the point. I also like how you explain why you do it this certain way and why you shouldnt otherwise.

If we have a ewe who's lamb didn't make it (when we are trying to help), we milk her, put the colostrum into containers and freeze it, so that if we do get a newborn lamb we have colostrum on hand. We also have powdered colostrum.
@user-sq1wo3zm2o3 ай бұрын
With the docking, we always wait until they are a couple months old and we do the whole lot at once, we also use numnuts, which injects medicine into that area which numbs the lamb and helps them to not feel the pain.
