I’ve only done backwards seats on mandrill mayhem and as you can imagine from the layout, bar the scorpion tail it wasn’t very exciting

I thought about how it's a mack ride and so is icon and icon added spinning seats so I was thinking thorpe might do the same to hypira it would make the UKs tallest backwards spinning expircince markets it's self for the park

mack hypercoasters have a option for backwards seat and we know merlin and their advertising, they most likely will do it

This is great. If you look at the full layout now it's up the ride looks so unfinished it's sad. Your design feels so realistic and could have brought this ride into top 5 worldwide.

Why is the ending so rushed? You got these massive loops and corkscrews and then it just hits a brake, does 1 negative G turn and it just ends. At that point there's still so much energy that's now just unused.

yea, thats what I also thought, feels like Thorpe Park doesnt have the budget for a longer ride but still want the title for the tallest ride

@@Nick_J_ also because the chose Mack, they are the most expensive manufacturer. If they took Vekoma or S&S it would be way cheaper and a longer layout would have been possible.

@@m.hoffman2889mack rides and Thorpe park has stated in the past that the ride won’t be long as they want it short and intense. If it’s too long after a while people could become bored quicker

I'm always gonna be biased to DC rivals since it's at my home park. But I just think the DC rivals layout is more diverse than what hyperia looks like, and I know how good rivals is as I rode it 6 times in one day the other day

@@Alexgreat-mz2dj height means barely anything in terms of how good a roller coaster is. The drop is one element. Yes, the first drop on this will *probably* better than DC rivals, but this layout seems less interesting/more repetitive than DC rivals personally to me

When you think about it . Swarm brave it backwards is one of the most requested returns for Thorpe park so it would make sense to add a backwards seat wether it would be first year or not is another question

Apprently it was removed following from the smiler accident, in terms of what would happen in the case of a similar incident the back row is less protected to forward facing

Shure thing i would ride that but the quick durection switches could enter into a stengledive after the turn from left back to right.
