Dimash has a very unreal voice! I think technically Whitney beats him but he's amazing and his range is just ridiculous lol. Here's my analysis: Lows: Dimash. I'm pretty sure this man can sing in the sub contra or 0th octave!!! Whitney's lows were amazing but always her weakest register Mid belts: Whitney. I've still yet to see or hear anyone outside of the opera with a voice as full and consistent as Whitney's in the mid belts. Maybe Shirley Bassey? I don't know lol. Upper belts (mix): Whitney. Whitney has a very chesty mix which is usually risky because it can result in strain, but Whitney does it AMAZINGLY, and it results in so much power. Dimash strains a lot here but it's to be noted that the high notes he can belt, as a MALE?! So gifted. Freakishly amazing voice. But yeah, his notes don't have support past C5 and his tone does get very hard to tolerate past D5 I'd say lol. Head voice: This was actually kinda hard but I'll say Whitney. Dimash has a bit of a fuller sound in his head voice than Whitney, but Whitney just has more control and dynamics. Agility (non classical): Whitney. This one was a bit easier. Dimash doesn't have very exceptional non classical agility, he hasn't displayed many fast and/or precise riffs, especially not to Whitney's level. Vibrato: Whitney. Dimash's vibrato goes up and down I guess? Lol idk how else to explain it. Whitney's vibrato is more straight and like a true "pure" vibrato, more consistent. Dynamics: Whitney. Dimash's dynamics are a little stagnant compared to Whitney's. Breath Control: Tie No bias at all here btw, I just think Whitney happens to be more of a vocal technician whereas Dimash is more of a vocal alien lol with his insane range. I will say Whitney's tone is more pleasant as well (to me).

You can't compare Whitney and Mariah live. Whitney Houston is an untouchable beast live, mainly because her main genre is GOSPEL, which is best interpreted live. Mariah is more pop (with gospel influence) and by her own admission, is more comfortable in the studio. I'd give studio vocals to Mariah any day of the week. But live... Whitney takes it. Mariah is good but isn't the best live given the majority of her career has been her fighting against her nodules

I like Lara better. At equal talent a mezzo will always have the advantage in pop music because the money note most people love A4-E5 are literally the mezzos sweetest spot. While a soprano s voice really start to shine around F5 which is already very high and anything above can be quite annoying to the general public… think nagging screamy wife.

Butterfly by Sohyang is so incredibly emotionally profound and moving for me and it moved me to tears. On June the 2nd of 2020 I had an experience that I strongly emotionally associate with Butterfly. I will never ever forget this moment me and my dog Sophie who is now in heaven were walking in our fields I had been really depressed and sad about life because of the lockdown but then we got to the bushes and we saw butterflies flying around them and butterflies came to fly near Sophie it was an experience that I never forget to this day . And I still and will to this day always believe that Sohyang and God were looking out for me and that they sent the butterflies to me and Sophie as a divine manifestation so that we could see the beauty of the world.

Charice in all aspects, she produces velvet quality, the projection was also great, the vibrato was on placed. Unlike So Hyang, it’s so UNHEALTHY and that cacophony bad twang is sucks!

This is inaccurate, pure selective hearing, So Hyang’s twangy sound is cacophony not even pleasant, she’s strained all the time. She’s nowhere near Charice’s level.

Dimash's tone is shrill past the 5th octave. His notws just aren't mearly as supported as Whitney's and her head voice is technically just better. Whitney's mid belts have much more tonality and power and resonance, her mix voice is tonally pleasant whereas Dimash's mix is fine until like D5 before he sounds like he's screeching. Dimash has better lows although he is a man and Whitney absolutely bodies him in riffs and runs like Dimash has 0 speed and 0 precision he can only do those runs that have multiple belts which are impressive but actual inflections/ad libs, licks, he can't perform whatsoever i think ariana grande has better agility so of course whitney destroys him and Whitney's vibrato is infinitely more stable

Both are great but I feel like Mariah is more surprising when hitting the notes and The thing her tone changed through The years and her voice was never the same in none album makes me appreciate that her tone was always like an angel but different in all her albums and she always found how to sound perfectly despiste nodules Whitney is always same tone most of years so It doesnot surprised so much really
