Imazapyr is a soil sterilant…it will kill everything to bare ground…any hardwoods and weakens pines and cedars…it travels through roots and any contact to roots…if you are using it for hack and squirt… I prefer blend of triclopyr, glyphosate, 2-4d and a pre emergent…because it kills as effectively but you dont have to worry about soil traveling as much as imazapyr. I onky use imazapyr on gravel driveways, walkways…far away from tree roots and meant to be bare soil for 7+ months…

What is best to do after fire subsided? Cutting the trees to rejuvenate again or letting it to grow without any assistance? Mine is an oilpalm plantations aged 3 months burnt of wild fire, i plan to cut thinking it will rejuvenate faster, as of now we xperince hot days reaching 50 degrees celcius until coming month of May as pronounced by weather forcast

Ospho. Converts the rust to primer. There is also another type that has a clear acrylic that is better, it was called prep and prime or something like that. Lowes carried it back in the day but I haven't found it in a long time. Ospho had to be painted the other didn't if you didn't want to. I always painted it. Sucks about your animal getting away from you, it happened to my brothers and I, almost lost a barn at the turkey camp but managed to stop it before it got to the structure. Quite scary for a minute there. Exactly as you said, "always expect the unexpected". No words ever spoken about fire were more true! Lol

The step to convert USD to another currency before going to Cuba just to exchange that into CUC is not necessary is it? A friend of mine said he went down there with USD and he said many many people wanted his USD and he exchanged most of it with his Casa Particular owner. When he needed more while out and about he said it was easy to find people who wanted USD to exchange. I wish I could bring back cigars now but the law hasn’t reverted back yet

Thanks for sharing. Like the poster before said, it’s never one thing. It’s a series of decisions or events that escalate before you realize it. One question I have, you mention wind direction in one of the videos and it sounds like you started firing on the upwind / and slightly downslope side of the block. Maybe I’m not understanding right though. Obviously we all know fire runs uphill and walks downhill and I get why you secured your flanks quickly. Also wondering why you didn’t back it off both flanks first before lighting an upwind / downslope corner of the block? Not trying to Monday-morning QB or rub salt in the wound, trying to think through how I would approach a similar situation.

Cellophane can breath and protects the cigars. It's your cigars but it's not good advice for any new smokers seeing this.
@CMatos-kg2tq8 ай бұрын
Agreed. They age fine in the cellophane
@shm62737 ай бұрын
Cellophane can't breathe, it has just enough porousness to allow a bit of moisture in but it effectively acts like a tubo. If you ever used Cello for more than a few years, you'd understand it will prevent microfermentation, it will prevent air circulation, it will absorb moisture at a very slow rate. They are there to protect the cigar during shipping. If you want aging, you must remove the cello to allow microfermentation to occur.
@Cornealious7 ай бұрын
@@shm6273 You can age with cello. I have the plume to prove it.
