Thats crazy... ive really been considering getting the procedure myself and i know of Dr stephens as well. From what i understand she said that microneedling was fine for darker skin tones as well so its unfortunate you had that bad reaction.

@@johnewilliams7800 My new dermatologist even suggested I try it again with an updated technique. She would do a small spot test on the side of my face first if I decide to try it again and that seems like a reasonable way to reduce the risk of a major issue.

Definitely would use a different serum if I did it again. Some places also recommend that you apply hydroquinone for two weeks before the treatment so that might be something to consider. I’ve also heard that RF micro needling is more powerful but I haven’t done much research on the topic. I think Dr. Rajani has videos on RF micro needling though, might be worth checking out.

Yes! The sheets definitely help on old hyperpigmentation spots. The more you commit to wearing them for as much time as possible, the more the spots fade. Blocking the spots from the sun during the day and protecting them from friction while you sleep adds up.

Hmm, good question. I think you’d just need to use a lower suction level at first (there are seven options) to make sure it doesn’t pull on the extensions, then slowly increase the suction as needed. And check the return policy before purchasing!

When exercising or travelling/swimming do you bring these tools along for afterwards or is there a particular way you style your hair during these activities?
@Chemeckia
@Chemeckia 4 ай бұрын
Great question! Fortunately, I don’t sweat much in my head when working out so I typically will just put my hair in a high ponytail or loose bun to keep it out of the way. If I’m trying to maintain freshly straightened edges, I sometimes wear a cotton sweatband to pull moisture away from the hairline. I take the Dyson Airstrait when traveling somewhere that I’ll be swimming because it’s the easiest to pack and it works fast. I use a swim cap 90% of the time though because I’m usually not willing to do a lot of washing/restyling on vacation 😅. This video came up because I watched a few Airstrait videos after getting a 20% off owners email coupon, and I had never heard of the Airstrait. I did end up purchasing and will be using it tonight. But this was a fantastic, non-biased comparison video, which was also informative for me. ❤ While I had heard of the Revair and Airwrap. I didn't realize the Airwrap could dry wet hair. I thought it was a tool that was like a curling iron and flat iron, which didn't interest me because I have not owned or used a flat iron or curling iron in years. I may have purchased if I had known it could dry wet hair. As far as the Revair. I never understood the hype. It looked huge to me and seemed like it would be best for those who have patience l, which is not me!😅 Anywho, I can't wait to try the Airstrait as It's been two or three years since I've straightened my hair (outside of two protective styles I tried). I'm hoping I get the voulne at the roots and thoughout like I've seen in the few review videos I watched. Lack of voulme is what made me stop wearing it straight.
