hey <3 thanks so much for posting this. any content from you is can’t-miss for me and instant click. thanks for doing all of this , it means so much to me. and at some point during this journey we’re about to end and finish off; I’d love to participate in a stream with you and all of your fans on here to share our after hours trilogy story. cuz I believe we all have one. my rock bottom moment was like Halloween of ‘19 and so by the following March when A.H. was released , my ordeal was in full swing. and the journey fully Kicked off and I feel so incredibly lucky , and so emotional, that we are able to finish this shit together. earlier this year in February/March/April I believe my ordeal firmly ended and I have been processing ever since - and I would love to hear your story and all of your fans stories from this after hours trilogy era. because I believe we all have one and I believe that no matter who we are , no matter what race, gender , age , we were all that person in the red jacket… where our bad habits, broken feelings , distorted emotions , and toxic behaviors all came to a head and sent us to a hellish nightmare. to suffer for a while until we surfaced in purgatory to take some years to sort it all out. I believe we all wore that red jacket and I believe that’s why we are here. because we are ready to finish it, once and for all. would love to begin and embark on a season of celebration with you and your fans. tell stories and make new friends. Hey, everyone. I have been letting the few examples of transphobic viewers comments that get posted on my videos not bother me that much. But there were two comments left by a user this morning that I am absolutely not going to tolerate at all the complete disrespect for my integrity and gender identity and using that hatred to fuel a lie that I have heard Wake Me Up already simply because they are transphobic and want to harass me. That is not going to happen. I know I am bringing more attention onto these moments by saying this, but I am too upset to not say something publicly about this. I literally admitted in the After Hours reaction to listening to the Save Your Tears leaked demo before the album came out. If I had heard Wake Me Up or any other leak from this album I would be honest about it. Some people you encounter in your life will always say things about you out of spite, and I am learning more and more that it is just an unfortunate part of life for literally everyone and that sometimes it is best to let it go. But having a viewer on here who has been a fan of mine for years and has commented nice things on my videos before now suddenly leave two comments asking me to “go back to my nature” and then a few minutes later comment that “he knows the leak but can’t say it” is not okay. That is straight up lying on my name simply because of transphobia and it is so disrespectful. This album is very, very much already from the snippets in these teasers going to deal with a lot of topics and emotions and imagery that are extremely relatable to me and my transition and I am not going to shy away from that at all, which is part of why I am saying now I am not going to allow things like that to be said about me for these reactions moving forward. It is so hurtful. I understand that I am very different than who I was when I did my After Hours reactions and that is where the majority of my viewership stems from. But that was not the real me. Abel’s music has helped me so, so much get to this point now where I am now shamelessly myself. I am Violet and that is not going to change. I do just want to say, though that the majority of returning viewers have treated me no differently than they have in the past, and to all of you I cannot tell you enough how safe and happy that makes me feel and thank you so, so much. Thank you also to the new viewers I have been getting recently. These videos mean so much to me to make, and I am blessed beyond belief to have so many people genuinely care about my thoughts on Abel and his work. Thank you so much to everyone who cares 🖤.
