I'm sure someone has advised you, but if you use a 20 amp breaker, you need to upgrade your wire from 14 guage to 12 guage. using 14 guage wire on a 20 amp circuit breaker can cause a fire because the wire will catch fire before it trips the breaker. I am not an electrician, so you should probably speak to one, but be careful just changing breakers without changing the wire.

I have been looking at building a Lean tube for my boat. Since my wife works at auto parts store and getting trucks each week I can get pallets for free. I figured that would be a good boat house

I purchased it last week and it didnt seem to work very well and the prongs on the plug are SUPER slim and flimsy, one broke off in 4 days. The plugs on top dont stay in very well. Seems super cheaply made and not very sturdy.. it also gets REALLY hot on the bottom and makes the table super hot. I ended up having to put a marble trophy bottom under it so it wouldnt warp the table.

Just so you know the trapping that is used as lumber covers. Is a lot better than what you can buy. And as long as it's not the lumber covers with paper on the insides. They will in most cases last more then 3 times longer than what you can buy!!

Great review, thanks. As a beginner woodworking hobbyist, I recently purchased my workmate 425, from Home Depot. I plan on using it for small diy furniture projects, and as a mount to wax my skis, or cut down my hockey sticks. I mentioned this to my dad, and he told me about the work mate his parents gifted him in his 20s, in the early 70s, and it’s still in working order.

I like the way you prepped and structured the roof. So much easier to get the cripples up by anchoring them to the rafter than putting them all up and anchoring the rafter to them. Good tip for a shorty like me. Thx

Just got the WM 425 'Plus' today. When I looked at your 70's/80's model. I thought it was from a different planet!! The new one is flimsy, and the metal is thin. It wobbles..(a bit) . When the wood is clamped, the clamp adjusters wobble?? So much I could harp on about. It's just darn horrible that the company merged with Stanley just to save a few lousy pence. I hope B&D's company executives see this video and it humiliates their manufacturing 'pride'.

I got the camera with the printer on anycubics website during launch. But sadly looks like they are scarce so my guess is checking their website, Amazon, or sadly eBay will be your best options. Sometimes either temu, wish, or Alibaba will have remaining stock from companies for cheap but orders can take weeks to arrive

I fit ski boots and running shoes for about 5 years. Your version here reminded me of it. There is something boot manufacturers would do to their toel/heel plates of pre-molding the heel strike and toe off curves. This is wear that happened naturally from walking, but it came like that from the factory. Those are also the areas you see the most wear on shoes. Outside heel strike leading to inside toe off. Now a ski boot's primary function isn't walking, but it does have the clip-clop stiffness of that base you have. In some running shoes, manufacturers would add wedges of firm gel to the outside heel. This was preferred over pure foam in that it didn't breakdown almost at all. I would think these two ideas could married to get a more walkable foot that still has some resistance for standing. The commercial iterations for these stilts I've seen look to be very focused on walking - having a noticeable rocker profile. These stilts also have the common complaint of not being comfortable to stand in. A passing thought, that's all.

Living in Florida humidity is high and it does not help any that I also have massive amounts of aquariums so having something like this will benefit me tremendously. I will be airing on side of caution and apply all your recommendations.

If a person uses it on it's side, you can put a solid thin board to make the bottom of the shelf solid so things slide in and out smoothly. Real nice crate! Thank you for the assembly demonstration🙂.

The problem with America not making anything anymore and American jobs leaving is not government. It's us refusing to pay more for something worth having and going to harbor freight to buy a $13 hat het made by sweatshop labor.

I got one of these saws about 10 days ago through Lowe's. Ran into a problem. I have checked all the major retailers, Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, True Value, Ace Hardware. No retailer stocks a 72 inch blade for this saw. Of course it can be ordered but that doesn’t help if you break a blade. Can’t just go pick one up and your project is delayed for at least several days. Has anyone found a solution to this? Thanks. The window for returning this saw will be closed in a couple of weeks. I prefer to keep it but not if blades are going to be this difficult to find.
