How did you connect the hose to the wastegate? Looks like very little room to work with in there. First time I’m doing this and seems like every video skips this part.

Great video. I had to invest in a smaller 3/4" torque 80 lbs and 1/2' torque for stuff up to 150 lbs. I work on my Acura, Subaru, Ram Promaster and now the new Tundra. Might need to get an even higher torque wrench for some of the Ram and Tundra nuts.

Ew good way to scratch it. I mean i know its not paint but still. Just start dry scrubing on it? Yeah no. Also 4 months?! How do people just let stuff go like this. You pay good monry for something nice and shiney and then not maintain it. 4 months? It looks like it hasnt been cleaned in 4 years

11:19 big mistake not putting the heat shield back on. You’ll cook your clutch and brake fluid reservoirs.
@BeeAboveAverage9 күн бұрын
The OEM heat shield does not fit with an aftermarket Downpipe without modification. I chose to leave it out while I sourced an aftermarket option.

did you have to cut a hole and weld a bung for the IAT sensor? does the ETS piping come with that bung?
@BeeAboveAverage13 күн бұрын
There is an option to buy a set that already has it welded in, that’s what I got.

That’s how much ethanol % the sensor was reading from the gas that was in the car.

The shop that I got this done at supplied all the material. I believe they used standard stainless steel. Unfortunately I’m not sure what kind of tip it is in the video, it was one I chose from the options he gave me.

Replacing the spark plugs looks like a PITA. LOL! You also need special socket tools to make it feasible to remove and reattach a new spark plug. You did a great job, and thanks for taking the time to share this tutorial.

I'm planning to fabricate a pair of these out of PVC foamboard, I'll measure out and use a Chinagraph pencil to mark the spacing. The tape is 3M VHB which can be bought on Amazon. I'll be bollocksed if I'm going to spend £60 on the branded version. Thanks for the guidance. Thumbs up.

Considering all the work that goes into it, I would check the plug gaps out of the box with a proper wire gauge. Yes,they can be gapped.

Leaking because the lube you put on the feed line was not you that connector it was for the threads of the fuel line AN fittings. Probably why everything was leaking, also I would recommend an AN adjustable wrench. Great video man. Love the vibes in that garage!
