I know this was posted nine years ago. I am a master gardener and you are so right when you say that we are not supposed to push our opinions about gardening on others. If someone asks about any topic we give both the pros and cons e.g., synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, tilling etc. Our comments have to be based on scientific information not our bias or personal opinion.

First, it's considered an invasive non native from Asia. With that said, try putting some soil around the juncture and plastic bag around it. Air graft. Roots should grow, then you could cut that branch free.

All these fence-pulling videos make sense ONLY if we own tractors, which I don't. So it would have been helpful if you had at least demonstrated how to do it with the puller on the fence post!

There is another step. If you intend to stop the erosion, you can either put down rock or plant some really tough grass product. I recommeCloverver. Not only does Cloverover take a beating, but it acts as an animal feed, too. In addition, having deep and broad roots will hold soil in place. If you go with rock, do not use standard stone. The old-timers used pea-sized gravel flows better on mud and, therefore, lasts longer. AlCloverclover needs receiving occasionally because of traffic it is a permanent solution.

I would try air layering the lower branch because that branch will have to be pruned off eventually anyway. Use willow water or rooting hormone to encourage rooting. If you get good rooting them cut the air layered branch off the tree and plant it.

I wish I’d seen your video years ago. When we had 2 horses my husband bought the metal posts and placed them about 6ft apart so it was easy to keep the fence tight and attach it without a fence puller. I’m sure he made a lot of mistakes but thankfully it worked and the horses never got out. I wish I’d saved those posts because now I’d like to get goats but my husband says the posts are outrageous. I may show him your video and these comments to see if we can come up with a more cost effective post. I’m also planning on getting chickens but I’ve got my coop and large fenced in runner that has an enclosed top picked out so I just have to buy them. I’ve thought about pigs but I’m not sure how much room they need, the best fencing to use, and if they are going to stink I may not get them. We only have a little over 5 acres. I’m also planting my first garden this year. Because we have so many birds including barn owls and hawks along with a ton of wild rabbits, opossums, raccoons, squirrels, ground hogs, and coyote I’m wanting to get a large green house where you can roll the sides up thru the day. Not only would that help keep other critters from eating up my crops but also keep any pollutants from the air from getting to them. We are also surrounded by large soybean fields. I have no idea what pesticides and fertilizers they’ve used on them. One field buts up to my backyard. I don’t want any overspray getting on my plants.

Are those rears 13.6X38 Firestone SAT 2's by any chance? They look perfect for our sizes tractors. I ask because I'm in need of a new set of rubbers for my Deere and I believe the SAT 2 6PLY bias to be the best overall choice

Also remember just like in the wild !!! You will lose at least 50% of them every year , so keep them replenish with new stock until you have built up a survivable group who can then pass on their survival experiences to there offspring, wild rabbits already have this down and the best you can hope for is for your domestic rabbits to breed with the wild ones 😊
@kennypridemore54666 ай бұрын
Also go with dark color rabbits, like brown. Gray , and black for the first 3 years , and then move in some with white patches or just plain white and let them breed with the others .... remember !!! One thing and only one thing > rabbits NEED ALL KINDS OF COVER , that is and always will be the key to their survival !! 😊
@kennypridemore54666 ай бұрын
Let the rabbits out in late November in zone 6 in zone 5, 4, and 3 let them out 3 weeks earlier for each zone past 6, and 3 weeks later in zones 7 and 8 this way most predators like coon , possiums and skunks are less active , youll still have to deal with mink and weasels on occasion and hawks and eagles, this is where strategic brush pile with 4 to 8 inch pipe installed around various parts of the brush pile , also make piles of soil or sand with several boxs buried with pipes connecting to each box for excape routes to pipes that go to the outside of the soil pile and make sure the boxes are higher than the surrounding area so no water gets in, and grow winter cover like corn and sorgum together to create hiding places during the day .... theres a lot more that i could add but im not in the mood right now to write a book 😂😅😂 😊
